This 16th-century inn is situated 3 km from the town of Christiansfeld. It offers old world charm in a quiet setting. Both central Kolding and Grønninghoved Beach are 20 minutes’ drive away. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The room was well decorated and comfortable. The restaurant was good. Everything very lovely

Located in Broager and only 28 km from Maritime Museum Flensburg, Old Roses Guesthouse provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was a lovely location, 1.5 miles from a gorgeous beach and next to a cycle track. The beds were comfortable. The room was beautiful in its rustic style and the host prepared a lovely little breakfast that even had a good vegan choice.

Situated in Ballum, 28 km from Ribe Cathedral, Ballum Slusekro features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Excellent location very close to a national park (Nationalpark Vadehavet) and to other beautiful destinations (Rømø and Mandø) - elegant building and nice, cosy, guest rooms - relaxed and calm atmosphere - welcoming, kind and friendly, competent and courteous staff - excellent, and generous, breakfast

Located in the southern Jutland town of Løgumkloster, this retreat centre is on the grounds of an old Cistercian monastery and church. It offers free WiFi and buffet restaurant. Peaceful location in lovely grounds. Not a standard hotel - a bit more communal (unforced) eg all eat dinner at 6 pm with a focus on finding peace and slowing down . Many rooms to read and study in. The manager showed us around and explained the concept even though we were really just passing through. Also very good value for money by Danish standards

Situated next to Schackenborg Castle in the picturesque village of Møgeltønder, this inn dates back to 1687. It offers free Wi-Fi, tastefully decorated rooms and a gourmet restaurant. Location is great and the room that we got was very spacious and lovely - we loved the old school vibes! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and warm covers. I appreciated the option to open windows and the blinds as I like to sleep in the dark. Breakfast didn’t have tons of options but all the staples were available; eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls + yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit. No fresh juice but bottled drinks in several flavors were pretty good!

The location was ideal for our visit! A short walk to my Aunt’s house! The breakfast was amazing: huge selection of delicious food and drink! Take away dinner was very high quality and portions were large!
