There are fantastic guided tours available from the tourist office (which also has free wifi) We took a walking tour into the Corcovado National Park. The guide Jose was extremely knowledgeable and patient, a great experience but there are lots of places you can go by ,yourself. The accommodation is basic (which you would expect from the price) but very comfortable and clean and the garden is full of wildlife. There is a regular bus service to Dos Brazos 2-3 times a day. You can get some fruit and veg at the tourist office, and there is a small shop a few hundred metres further up the road past the footbridge.

They were both extremely welcoming and helpful! Staying at Los Mineros was my favourite part of my trip to Costa Rica. The guesthouse is surrounded by nature and you see all kinds of wildlife. It’s a perfect place to recharge. Chani is a great guide and showed me beautiful places in the jungle and numerous animals. I feel very fortunate to have found this guesthouse!
