We have booked two rooms, so we ended having whole house with kitchen and a terrace for us. Carlos can also pick you from the port at Puerto Jimenez as the lodge is located just few steps away for the Tiger trail. It's so close to Corcovado NP that sometimes you just don't to go to the park, as the animals come to your porch!

I was already greeted by a woman when I arrived there. She explained everything important to me and offered me to contact her at any time if I had any questions. I was able to leave my luggage at the accommodation during my stay in Corcovado National Park and when I came back with completely wet and dirty clothes, the lady even offered to wash the clothes for free, which I really appreciated. Thank you again at this point. The accommodation has everything you could wish for :)

Loved the authentic accommodation. On the doorstep to all the nature and wildlife you dream of.Kerley and family were wonderful hosts and are passionate about what they do.Very good value, bedrooms were clean with a simple ensuite bathroom but you had everything you needed.The kitchen was very impressive so it was very easy to prepare your own food.if you wanted to..Loved the verandah .We went on bird trips with Kerley, and he looked after us really well.Got some amazing birds and animals and learned plenty from him

We really enjoyed our stay at here. It's a lovely peaceful spot. With everything you need for a relaxing stay in the jungle. The rooms are lovely, open to the outdoors so you are surrounded by nature. The kitchen has all u need for cooking and there is an option of breakfast provided. We got good advice from Gewndal and Negar on what to do in the area. Truly a lovely experience

Suzanne, the host, is very nice, helpful and communicates in several languages. She sent us excellent directions by text message so we wouldn't get lost following her GPS suggestions. Her husband Channy was our tour guide, who is not only very nice but is actually a native of the jungle. He knows all about the local wildlife and tailored a tour for us that would make us maximally happy...and beyond.
The accommodation is not up to my usual European standard of comfort, but no insects or lizards came into the room at night. So I would recommend to everyone that after a refreshing shower you just close your eyes and enjoy the sounds of the jungle. I feel that our trip to Costa Rica was crowned by Channy's fantastic tour!!!

Absolutely loved it here! As soon as I arrived I was greeted with big smiles and kindness from the staff. They are relaxed, helpful, fun and just really good people. Room was great! Bed comfy. I loved how the hotel had different zones so you can either be social or find a quiet area to chill. Shared kitchen was super clean, spacious and very well organized. Lots of surfboards for rent. Beach about 50m away, a few cafes / restaurants close, as well as the mini market store. 100% will be back! Hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks for a great time Hotel Swell.... We really enjoyed our stay at Cabinas Carol! The surfing beach is 2 minutes away and there is a small supermarket where you can get everything you need. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance where you can enjoy local food. The Cabinas managers are really nice and you can always contact them if you have any question. The vibe is very relaxed and some local vendors come by to sell fruit, coconuts or other things. We especially liked the outdoor kitchen and the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

If you want an authentic jungle experience, this is the place to go! Located in the middle of the jungle the accommodation is rather basic but extraordinarily charming.
The hosts are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and also very knowledgeable about the jungle. You can use the several trails they have prepared to hike on your own in the jungle or ask their help.
The homemade food was tasty, nourishing and very reasonable priced.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great location, within short walking distance to the shops and restaurants, but still surrounded by wildlife. We had macaws, iguanas, squirrels on the trees, next to our balcony. We stayed in the upstairs rancho. Beautiful room, very clean. Amazing experience
I instantly felt welcomed and relaxed. The little boutique accommodation felt like the best version of how home should be. Lily and Gregory were the kindest and most thoughtful hosts.
The room was great with a great view. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay really special. They arrange great tours. The property is in a great location but also very quiet and close to the beach. I felt very safe as a solo traveler.

The hostel is very cheap and you get about the same as anywhere else in Costa Rica. So, great value for money. There was only one other couple in the dorm, so it was very quiet and relaxed.
When we went to Corcovado they let us leave the car by the hostel.
