The staff is super friendly and helpful (they booked bustickets and activities for us). The owner Darío is also really nice and on Friday we received a salsa lesson from his wife, which was a lot of fun! The pool is great for the hot days. The shower also gets really hot (you don’t know how much you miss hot showers until you don’t have them available anymore) and everything is spotless clean. The location is amazing as well, everything is around the corner.

The location is perfect, just next to the terminalito and a few steps from the main square. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Warm atmosphere.

Host is amazing and makes delicious breakfasts in the morning! The bus stop is a 10 min walk away, which helps in being very mobile without car!

It's a small paradise just outside of Barichara, surrounded by luscious greenery and spectacular views. Very quiet and peaceful. A lovely terrace where you can sit and enjoy the views or a drink. There's a small pool if you feel like cooling off from the midday heat. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre of the village, but the views and the air are totally worth it. Very relaxing place

Offering a shared lounge and city view, THIS IS COLOMBIA HOSTEL is set in San Gil, 41 km from Chicamocha National Park and 41 km from Chicamocha Water Park. The best hostel I’ve stayed at during two months traveling around Colombia. The dormitory is spacious (I just missed a real window), the beds were the largest and most comfortable I’ve ever found in the country, the shower is perfect, and the air conditioning is a treat. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, always smiling and having good time with the guests. Just the restricted hours to use the kitchen can be a problem if a guest wants to cook dinner, but as I don’t it was no problem for me

The owners were extremely nice people and organised our activity while there and gave restaurant recommendations. The hostel has hammocks to chill out in and a well equipped kitchen too. Room was very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The price is great too, the best in San Gil for the service provided. Would recommend to anyone staying in San Gil.

Never a dull moment and the most genuine hospitality we have had in Colombia. The rooms have what you need, clean and quiet plus there is a meal option you can pay for that is awesome.
