The staff is super friendly and helpful (they booked bustickets and activities for us). The owner Darío is also really nice and on Friday we received a salsa lesson from his wife, which was a lot of fun! The pool is great for the hot days. The shower also gets really hot (you don’t know how much you miss hot showers until you don’t have them available anymore) and everything is spotless clean. The location is amazing as well, everything is around the corner.

Featuring a garden and views of city, Real Dream Hostel is a recently renovated guest house located in San Gil, 42 km from Chicamocha National Park. The location was perfect, close to the main square and to the bus station to go to Barichara. Bed is super comfy and the common area with hammocks is the best place to chill. The owner and the staff are really friendly and they will make you feel at home from the moment you step foot in the hostel. All the activities are available at the hostel for good prices. Breakfast was delicious. Least but not last, the sweet crazy cat Loki who acts like a dog!

Situated in Barichara, Hostal Villa San Rafael features accommodation with seating area. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. It's a small paradise just outside of Barichara, surrounded by luscious greenery and spectacular views. Very quiet and peaceful. A lovely terrace where you can sit and enjoy the views or a drink. There's a small pool if you feel like cooling off from the midday heat. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre of the village, but the views and the air are totally worth it. Very relaxing place

The staff we're amazing, helped us with everything and even with the bungee jumping. The beds we're really comfy, the hostel was clean and feels more like home.
