There's a small pool if you feel like cooling off from the midday heat. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre of the village, but the views and the air are totally worth it. Very relaxing place

The team working there is very nice, Diego, MarFe, Marie, Laura. The hostel is clean and comfortable, room is big. You can arrange for your extreme sport activities directly with the hostel. Diego is a wealth of information. I enjoyed my stay. When I visit San Gil again, I'll stay at THIS IS COLOMBIA HOSTEL again.

Esperanza and her daughter Joanna are excellent hosts, Joanna also speaks very good English which was really helpful for us. They organised our rafting for us with great communication, it was a very good experience, lots of fun. The place is kept very clean, rooms are comfortable and good value for money. Kitchen is well equipped and the hammock area is lovely. Really lovely little hostel. Would definitely stay again, didn't want to leave!
