My recent two night stay was exceptional. The ocean view from the hostel was incredible and the food was delicious. The hosts were very friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I do not have anything negative to say about my stay! Highly recommended!

Set on the beachfront in Baru, posada chikiluky LYC has a private beach area. The accommodation offers room service and a tour desk for guests. Great little hotel (6 rooms, I believe) in the quiet section of Playa Blanca. Clean, nice room with character (in the good way). Fantastic staff, great food at a very good price. Luis was very helpful with tours and transport.

Pizzas were lovely but dinner was not so much. And spent only one night and think it’s a great value for money.

Located within a few steps of Playa Blanca in Playa Blanca, Tipiland baru la casa del mono provides accommodation with seating area. Great decoration style and ambient to stay safe and as home. El Mono and his wife are real super hosts. Great deal! the place is just as it appears on the app. Very responsive people and kind hosts. The place is gorgeous, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the ocean view is simply amazing. Worth to be there!

Situated in Playa Blanca, Playa Tortuga Cabaña offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Playa Blanca and features various facilities, such as massage services, a garden and a bar. The place is very basic, but Carlos make sure its always clean. You will see him cleaning the whole place multiple times.

Amazing hostel just at the beach. Very confortable and perfect to live the island experience. Staff is very kind and helpful. You can do the tours with them with less people and cheaper. Food and drinks at the bar are really tasty and big quantity. Totally recommended.

Hugos Place Baru has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Playa Blanca. The accommodation features room service, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. The place is very beautyfull and the beach is very lovely. The food was okay but wouldnt recommend the breakfast.

Facing the seafront in Playa Blanca, Mi Cabañita Guest House has a garden and a terrace. The property features sea and garden views, and is a few steps from Playa Blanca. This place was a real treat for me: the house is quite small, completely made on wood and hanging over the blue water, and just very cosy to be inside of. The hosts, Dianis and Macarena, are absolutely lovely :) For people to know, the WC facilities are quite basic (which totally didn't bother me): flushing is made with a water bucket and there's one shower without warm water (which is generally not needed under the caribbean heat). The breakfast is delicious, with a fair portion and quite diversed.

Hostal El Nido del Azulejo is set in Baru. A public bath and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. Very nice and interesting village. We had an amazing time on the tours with the senior of the hostel. The atmosphere at the hostel was always open and friendly. We’d stay there again.
