My recent two night stay was exceptional. The ocean view from the hostel was incredible and the food was delicious. The hosts were very friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I do not have anything negative to say about my stay! Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect, the people whose work there were very friendly, all was amazing, the food was very delicious, I loved this place. To celebrate my birthdays there was amazing, cause the details, like the surprise in my room was oh my gosh, unique, thanks guys for this gift, of course I come back

Located in Playa Blanca, a few steps from Playa Blanca, SUNSET BEACH offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a bar. Great location and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Pizzas were lovely but dinner was not so much. And spent only one night and think it’s a great value for money.

With sea views, Playa Tortuga Cabaña is situated in Playa Blanca and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and sun terrace. The staff was super nice, Carlos is a good guest and he provide us food and utilities that we needed, super kind, and also de owner Daiber was so kind with us. Is a basic room but is in front of the beach, you sleep with the sound of the waves, so healthy and nice. I would recommend the night here for y'all

Situated in Playa Blanca in the Baru Island region, The Wizard & Bar BARU has a balcony and sea views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free WiFi. Great staff. David and Lili are great at making you feel at home. You don’t have to book anything previously (ex. Rosario islands trip, bioluminescent plankton, or anything else). Best way is to book directly with them, with better prices!

Located in Playa Blanca, Nuestros Tres Tesoros II offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Playa Blanca and provides various facilities, such as a private beach area and a bar. Really lovely stay by the beach. Playa Blanca is a touristy spot in the days, however, this hostel is really tranquil in the evenings, and mornings in particular. We had the balcony area to chill in during the days so your away from any crowds, still looking out on the beach and able to just walk down to get in the water when you wish. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Easy to book boats back to the main area to get back to Cartagena:

Hugos Place Baru has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Playa Blanca. The accommodation features room service, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. The place is very beautyfull and the beach is very lovely. The food was okay but wouldnt recommend the breakfast.

Facing the seafront in Playa Blanca, Mi Cabañita Guest House has a garden and a terrace. The property features sea and garden views, and is a few steps from Playa Blanca. excellent customer service by property owner! The pizzeria was great and dinner with other guests felt very homey and communal. Would highly recommend to couples and solo travelers who are used to facilities with only basic necessities but value for the price. I stayed in the double with a balcony and it was the most beautiful sunset view, luxury resort vibe!

Located in Baru, Freedom Beach Club features a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides nightclub and a tour desk. It’s a very lovely hostel, different from all the others, very colorful, with lots of musical details. Our room is perfect for the family, with a very comfortable en-suite bathroom. The best part is the very friendly staff and its location; the beach is beautiful, and you can tell they’ve cleaned the stones off it. It’s worth mentioning that they have internet and electricity, which many places don’t.
