The airport is in walking distance but it is still very quiet in the area the house is located. The city is a 15 minute walk (or you can use a Tuktuk). The room was nice, comfortable and clean. There is also a nice pool outside to use since it’s very hot in Leticia. The best thing about Casa amazilia is the Maricela! She is so welcoming and tries everything to help you with planning your next steps. Even if you don’t speak Spanish she’s gonna manage to talk to you somehow (or make you try to speak Spanish, perfect if you want to improve your Spanish-skills haha). We loved our stay with Maricela and her family and would definitely recommend to come here ☺️

Maiku Amazonas ligger i Puerto Nariño och erbjuder boende med trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Alla rum har ett kök och ett eget badrum. Staff were really friendly and took us on tours into the jungle and down the river to see some wildlife and indigenous communities. The hostel itself is a great place to relax and switch off. The top terrace has a great view over the river, and we even saw monkeys running along the wire just in front of the terrace!

We had an amazing experience in La Ceiba. We loved the location in the village but also the jungle, the activities offered were well organised & every meal was gorgeous. Highly reccomend.

Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.
