The social area is in a middle of a mini jungle very pretty. Convenient kitchen , barbecue. The beautiful swimming pool is large enough to swim and to relax . This is a quiet place and the owners will respect your privacy. I m very picky , and I really love this place. The price (about 100US$) is the good one compare to the price of many terrible hostels of the island.

Very friendly staff, very convenient location, the main street is just like 3-5mins away, and you can actually walk from the airport in 15 mins.

Exceeded expectation Carlos and Yolanda are such wonderful people. It was honestly like a home away from home. It's a nice little walk to town, and you're far enough away that you get the tranquility of the countryside. Carlos was so nice to pick me up and drive me to the airport. Would give a higher rating if I could can't recommend this spot enough

Hostal Makohe Rapa Nui er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús sem er staðsett í Hanga Roa og býður upp á garð. Þetta gistihús býður upp á ókeypis einkabílastæði, ókeypis skutluþjónustu og ókeypis WiFi. They picked me up at the airport, showed me the main parts of Hanga Roa upon arrival. Even though breakfast was not included, they left bread and another traditional fried dough every morning. They also left fruit at my disposal. Very clean. Very quiet. Great wifi. They also took me to the airport on my last day on the island. They have a beautiful kitty :) Thank you so much for your hospitality! I hope to come back one day. I loved Rapa Nui!

Help in hiring a guide without whom you cannot have lunch on the island. And for good price. Room clean, bathroom functional, hot water always, bed good. WIFI reliable

Mrs. Lori the owner gives tours of all the historical sites on the island. It tells the history of the island very well. He does it with passion. She told a lot of interesting facts about the island, including those about how to live on the island today and a few years ago. Everyone was happy to advise where to find something and how to get there.

Maine took great care of us from the very first moment when we arrived. For some reason we did not know that to sightsee around the park a guide is required, and we arrived without having anyone booked. Maine told us to jump to a car with her and she drove us to the park office, where we’ve got everything figured out. She ended up being our guide and she made sure that we saw everything that is needed to be seen around her beautiful island. We’ve been impressed with Maine’s warmth and ability to create a family- like atmosphere. The property was basic but comfortable. Good hot water for shower. Very close to the airport and felt very safe. Common area was always open and people very welcoming.
