Sonia and Francisco were absolutely lovely, making you feel welcome and cared for, treating you to a delicious and charming breakfast every morning, sharing stories about the island and its history. A perfect place to stay!

Meals were self-catered, and facilities always clean. Filtered water available to all… food left by guests marked “available” (Many thanks! 😊) The environment was richly tropical, with the welcome sound of roosters herding their brood thru the gardens each morning and occasional church bells… otherwise superbly peaceful and relaxed! The small pool and well-maintained hot tub were a welcome bonus! The young managers kept their eyes on all facilities yet never interfered with the quiet enjoyment by a well-balanced clientele. Te Ariki ticked every box… and Rapa Nui was The Highlight of my 3-month, 3-country journey.

We enjoyed staying in the hostal. Maria, the host, helped us with various things, she was very friendly and attentive. The value of comfort/location/price is ideal. The price is low as compared to the hotels, it is locatied not far from the center of the city, near the beach, Ahu Tahai where you can make amazing photos of the sunset is within walking distance from the hostal. If we come back to Rapa Nui, we will book the hostal again with no doubts. Thank you very much!

The host is very friendly and hospitable, sharing a lot of tourist information so I can quickly get to know Rapa Nui. I stayed in the mixed dorm on the 2nd floor, where I met many new friends and had great conversations. The kitchen is also very well-equipped and clean, so I can buy groceries for cooking (and save money). Overall, it feels like a family to stay here. Recommend to solo travelers!

The included breakfast is good, during the stay there I felt like I was at the village with my grandmother. The city center is in 30-40 minutes of walking.

Nothing to complain about, clean, spacious, the host extremely welcoming, if I came back I wouldn't choose anything else.

It’s a 5min walk to the beach and city centre where you can find restaurants, mini markets and bars. The bed was absolutely amazing, the shower had warm water and fabulous pressure. For those that like to use the Internet, the Wi-Fi is great. Now for the owners of this lovely gem; they were sweet, very helpful and every morning Pamela leaves some baked goods. They pick me up and dropped me off at the airport which I appreciated very much. It really felt like home. Thank you again for everything that you both have done ❤️

Marari rapa nui ligger i Hanga Roa, 1,9 km fra Playa Pea, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, gratis privat parkering, fælles opholdsstue og terrasse. Maine took great care of us from the very first moment when we arrived. For some reason we did not know that to sightsee around the park a guide is required, and we arrived without having anyone booked. Maine told us to jump to a car with her and she drove us to the park office, where we’ve got everything figured out. She ended up being our guide and she made sure that we saw everything that is needed to be seen around her beautiful island. We’ve been impressed with Maine’s warmth and ability to create a family- like atmosphere. The property was basic but comfortable. Good hot water for shower. Very close to the airport and felt very safe. Common area was always open and people very welcoming.
