This is a real gem - highly recommended. I generally don’t like staying at B&Bs because I feel they are too confining or not private enough. But this is totally the opposite. Stuart and Judy are marvelous hosts - there when you need suggestions and adjust to your individual needs. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and well appointed with a cozy private veranda. It is close to everything and across the street from a spectacular beach. And the food is to die for. We had the marvelous included breakfast and cheese tray but also ordered dinner which was a great home cooked meal. We stayed two nights but could have stayed longer. I recommend this to anyone traveling through or hoping to stay in the Bay of Fires/St Helen’s/ Scamander area. You will be glad you did.

Assemblage Boutique Art B & B, a property with a garden, is located in Hobart, 3.9 km from Theatre Royal, 5.4 km from Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, as well as 3.4 km from Government... The beds were heated, just a few kilometers from the places we wanted to go to, some breakfast items we could grab, very kind host. What would you not like?

The Cosy Cottage offers self-contained accommodation in Port Sorell. It features a cosy fireplace. The open-plan cottage includes full kitchen facilities, a TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. There was nothing forgotten in this cottage that you wouldn't have at home, even fresh eggs for breakfast and the pantry was well stocked. I will be recommending to all my friends and we cannot wait to go back again.

Just 7 minutes' walk from Hobart CBD (Central Business District), Astor Private Hotel offers rooms with antique furniture and access to free WiFi. If you want a bit of a trip back in time that matches the Hobart vibe then this is the place to stay. Tildy is very welcoming and goes out of her way to make sure everything is right. The Astor Grill on the ground floor is superb but very popular so it's probably best to book direct in advance. If you use the Skybus from the airport get off at Stop 4.

Richmond Barracks offers 3 self-contained cottages, located in a private garden setting, in the village of Richmond. The room is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The winners here were the extra, thoughtful little touches that set this accommodation apart from most we have stayed in. Equally, no bargain priced appliances or fittings were to be found, only good quality throughout. Scrupulously clean and tidy, Just two minutes walk to the main street, it would be hard to find fault with Richmond Barracks (We were in "The Cellar" room - lovely!).

Set on a peaceful 107 acres in Ellendale, Sassafras Springs offers an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities and a children's playground. Absolutely lovely place with cottages with stunning views! It is very convenient for exploring Mt field National Park. The manager was very friendly and accomodating! Will definitely come back here!

Guests at Explorers Lodge have access to a cosy guest lounge with fireplace, a sun room, sun deck and landscaped gardens to explore. Free WiFi is provided. The host Michael & Roberto are wonderful. Very communicative and willing to go that extra mile to make your stay pleasurable and "like home". I was so impressed I extended my stay for another 5 nights rather than relo to Hobart as I had originally planned. Don't skip the homemade hot breakfast (eggs are straight from the hens in the garden out back and they are wonderful...so different from store bought US grocery eggs) and there is a Continental option as well. Very clean, very comfortable beds and luxury bedding. Overall an excellent choice for a stay that will not dissapoint,

Located in Nicholls Rivulet and only 42 km from Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, Clover Rise provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This cosy cabin was a great place to stay. A clean and modern facility with all the conveniences. Comfortable bed, good heating, nice shower and bathroom and a good kitchen as well. The location is quiet and it was a delight to see the cows and animals on the farm. This was a very memorable stay, and we hope to visit again!
