I slept here for ten hours straight! It was incredibly quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the penguin viewing spot. Lovely large apartment. With everything you need. Host left eggs butter & jam in fridge. all the small things made our stay great. Very quit in country setting. Not fair from town. Shower good. Lots of space in unit. washing machine & drier also. Nice clothes line under Verandah. Lot of books & dvds.

Set on a peaceful 107 acres in Ellendale, Sassafras Springs offers an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities and a children's playground. Super friendly host, best location in the mountains, own backyard, veranda and a lovely european bedding with fireplace next to our bed, pure countryside romance!

A clean and modern facility with all the conveniences. Comfortable bed, good heating, nice shower and bathroom and a good kitchen as well. The location is quiet and it was a delight to see the cows and animals on the farm. This was a very memorable stay, and we hope to visit again!
