I slept here for ten hours straight! It was incredibly quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the penguin viewing spot. The internet connection is great, and I could log into Netflix on the TV to watch shows.

This is a real gem - highly recommended. I generally don’t like staying at B&Bs because I feel they are too confining or not private enough. But this is totally the opposite. Stuart and Judy are marvelous hosts - there when you need suggestions and adjust to your individual needs. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and well appointed with a cozy private veranda. It is close to everything and across the street from a spectacular beach. And the food is to die for. We had the marvelous included breakfast and cheese tray but also ordered dinner which was a great home cooked meal. We stayed two nights but could have stayed longer. I recommend this to anyone traveling through or hoping to stay in the Bay of Fires/St Helen’s/ Scamander area. You will be glad you did.

Just 7 minutes' walk from Hobart CBD (Central Business District), Astor Private Hotel offers rooms with antique furniture and access to free WiFi. This is a particularly good hotel. The boss and staff are very warm and the service is very good. I especially like the classical decoration style in the hotel, and there are many lily flowers, which smell very comfortable. The room makes me feel like home, comfortable and warm. It is highly recommended for friends who come to Hobart to stay.

Richmond Barracks offers 3 self-contained cottages, located in a private garden setting, in the village of Richmond. The room is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The winners here were the extra, thoughtful little touches that set this accommodation apart from most we have stayed in. Equally, no bargain priced appliances or fittings were to be found, only good quality throughout. Scrupulously clean and tidy, Just two minutes walk to the main street, it would be hard to find fault with Richmond Barracks (We were in "The Cellar" room - lovely!).

Set on a peaceful 107 acres in Ellendale, Sassafras Springs offers an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities and a children's playground. Super friendly host, best location in the mountains, own backyard, veranda and a lovely european bedding with fireplace next to our bed, pure countryside romance!

Guests at Explorers Lodge have access to a cosy guest lounge with fireplace, a sun room, sun deck and landscaped gardens to explore. Free WiFi is provided. Character home with lovely features and decor. Excellent breakfast.

This cosy cabin was a great place to stay. A clean and modern facility with all the conveniences. Comfortable bed, good heating, nice shower and bathroom and a good kitchen as well. The location is quiet and it was a delight to see the cows and animals on the farm. This was a very memorable stay, and we hope to visit again!
