We enjoyed our stay very much, and we were absolutely blown away by this hidden gem. The waterfall and surrounding forest blessed us with amazing views and beautiful sounds of nature. Everything was perfect and private. Comfortable bed and clean facilities. Loved listening to the sound of the waterfall and birds tweating in the treetops. Excellent location near your local village and easy to get to and from surrounding beaches. My photos will not do this beautiful place the justice it deserves..A must see & experience! Thank you so much Kim for being a great host and for sharing this slice of heaven with us 😊

This is a beautifully curated property with lovely considered details such as vintage cutlery, luxury towels and linen, king size beds and nice decor.
The setting is picturesque, and you can hear the native birds.
Our hostess was very hospitable, even giving us some organic produce from her garden to take with us.
Although remote, the property is located a few mins drive from Matakana and surrounding restaurants and vineyards.
Highly recommend.

Nice location, and very comfortable apartment. Spacious lounge/dining/kitchen area. A heat pump in the lounge room and an electric blanket on the bed. Good parking. Great host.

This unit was beautifully decorated and presented . We were really impressed with the quality of the decor and furnishings and the setting was private and quiet . While the unit is attached to the main house , it feels like it’s totally detached and private . Just a 5 min walk away you had the Grange shopping centre so able to get dinner or takeaways with a short walk . The local info provided was super helpful and our host was excellent
Very nice property a couple of km outside Warkworth. Rooms are not huge but adequate. Nice grounds, very quiet location and friendly host who provides a good breakfast. Some nice eateries in town, especially Aldo's Italian.

This a beautifully quiet location set in a large garden. The hosts were accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and we would definitely return there if we are fortunate enough to make the journey to NZ again. Highly recommended
Host met us and showed us around. Charming historical cottage. Kitchen generously supplied with teas and coffee, milk and a good selection of breakfast items, plus fruit. Very cosy, heaters/electric blanket/hot water bottles. Lovely rural setting for short walks. Everything we needed and a great location not far from Warkworth. Especially liked the friendly host.
