The double bed was comfortable, but not a King size as advertised.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. The place is very cosy and clean! It's very spacious which is perfect for families especially with kids! The host/s are very responsive and easy to talk to. Will definitely re-book this property when we visit Taupo again.
Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade croissants. Elizabeth and Paul were warm, friendly, helpful hosts and the house was charming, clean and comfortable. It is a short walk to the lake and we were able to park off the street.
Beautiful room and views. The room was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our one night. Host was super friendly and informative, Julie even considered that we were travelling further south and advised us which would be the best route to take given there was a festival in Taupo over the weekend. Very quiet place to stay (although some internal noise from other guests using the bathroom, which did not bother us)
