Simply amazing. Just what you want if you are looking for good old Norwegian days. Friendly staff, close to the famous monastery, close to the sea and lighthouse, out of the crowds and cities. Lovely place if you are looking for silent place to calm the thoughts or write your book or songs. Don't forget that this is a Christian community house, the rooms have no numbers but names of saints, you can find some exhibitions or some lectures, but the place itself is perfect for any pilgrim. I cannot recommend it more. It's like you are in older movie. Perfect. OK place to go swimming in the cold gulf is nearby, port with luxury restaurant is 100 meters if you need it.

For the season, city and cost I did not expect such fresh, clean, spacious and comfortable facilities. The fully-equipped kitchen saved me a small fortune, even if I tried the excellent Pakistani restaurant across the street.

The location is great. It's a 5 minute walk down to the center where you can find loads of restaurants, cafés, tours and shops. The checkin process is done online, there is no reception, but worked fine. The room, bathroom and communal area were small but clean. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this will do just fine.

These modern apartments are set on Rennesøy island. They feature free Wi-Fi, full kitchen facilities and a patio or balcony with Brimsefjord views. Boats can be rented on site.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very sweet owner. Lovely surroundings. Pretty and charming house. Great location if you like us want peace and quiet. We got to use the kitchen and the owner gave us free tea and coffee. The living room had an amazing view! We walked to the historic site close by - highly recommended.
A nice apartment for a few (or maybe many) days stay in Stavanger. A quiet street more or less in the middle of the city centre. The apartment is well-equipped with anything you need to make your own food - and there are many bakeries in walking distance to get warm bread for breakfast. The take-away shops are even closer than the bakeries. The host replied instantly when there were some issues.
We got lucky due to off-season rates. This is 2 bedroom, fully furnished apartment. It even has washing machine and dryer which we found very useful for our hiking trip. This apartment is located in very quiet and nice neighbourhood, by a small park. Walking distance to city center, Xtra supermarket, Kanelsnurren Eiganes bakery and Kannik bus stop. Very helpful and responsive host. Highly recommended. We spent a week there and it was awsome :)
Great location, just 8min walking distance to bus/train station, and 10mins to the city center. The apartment is fine, great for 2 people, a bit tiny for 4 adults, for 2 adults and 2 kids great, too. The kitchen is great, everything included, bathroom is great, too. The apartment is located in the third floor, the stairs are not suitable for handicaped people. The outside location is very quiet, you feel there like in a countryside...
Very responsive host, great location close to the city centre, fantastic views of the harbour from the balcony. Bed in the main room was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom with great shower - spotless.
Great staff, very helpful and friendly all the time. Great location, super quiet, easy to get from the airport and city center well connected with bus.
Very good quality of the breakfast
Very big room, super comfy bed
Quite cheap and nice place. Self-service, you open the door using a code. Old house, but clean and nice. There is a kitchen for guests. The city centre is quite close. Quiet neighborhood.
Really lovely B&B. Paul & Wenche were great hosts - we arrived early in the day and Wenche was quite happy to store our bags until our room was ready. Great location, only 10 minute walk down to the harbour area, 5 minutes to bus & train station.
There is a small kitchen area for guests to use with fridge, microwave & kettle. Wenche puts on a great selection for breakfast and guests all sit together round a large table.
Would highly recommend.
- quiet neighbourhood but close to the city centre
- bright (white) and clean

- heated floor in the bathroom
- Miele washer and dryer (did not use)
