This was one of our favourite accommodations on our trip! We stayed here as a buffer day between traveling between Ishikawa and Naoshima but we wish we could have spent longer - lots of privacy, in a great area, and the staff were so helpful and friendly, they really went over and beyond helping us to plan our following days in Naoshima. The guesthouse was cosy and had everything you could think to need!

Excellent location, opposite ferry to Naoshima and in centre of Uno, 2 mins walk from station. Incredibly helpful, hard working & customer focussed staff who speak excellent English. Great breakfast! Very good shower and clean hotel generally. General use balcony outside for evening drinks & sunset.

the house is very nice. my family and i like it very much. there is a little parking area just very close outside the house. the style of the house is amazing.

For our overnight visit to explore Naoshima, it was perfect. Basic but great. Well located just minutes on foot from Miyanoura port, near cafes, restaurants and 7 Eleven. Bread and jams, tea/coffee is free for self-serve breakfast. Clean, cheerful, host is lovely.

Very quirky place which was conveniently located right next to the ferry port. Extremely good value for money with a spacious private room.

The location was great! Very close to the pier. Also the room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

This was the most outstanding property we stayed at while in Japan for 3 weeks. It was authentic, the beds were so comfortable, the house was spotless, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We will return again and stay longer.

Fantastic hotel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. It was easy to get to the hotel from the port. The room was lovely and comfortable with great amenities including tea and coffee. They rented us bikes to explore the island.

The house and facilities are fantastic! Clean, convenient location and our host was very accommodating, generous with his time and gave us great recommendations and directions on how to get around. He told us how things work on island too, which was helpful information. It was all very much appreciated. My daughter and I will definitely recommend ‘One Rest House Private House’ to our friends and family. Thank you again for having us and making us feel so welcome at One Rest and on the island!
