Guesthouse Sunna, hotel in Reykjavík

Located in Reykjavik’s old city center, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings.

The location, for us, couldn't have been better. You could see Hallgrimskirkja cathedral from our rooms. There are restaurants and even a little grocery store in less than a 5 min walk. The section of the Rainbow Road is less than 10 minutes away. The staff was kind and helpful. Good breakfast options. The entire guesthouse was very clean and well maintained. Having parking on the property was huge. We would definitely stay here again on future visits to Reykjavik.

Grótta Northern Lights - Apartment & Rooms, hotel in Reykjavík

The place was very quiet and cute decorated, You have fully equipped and cozy kitchen. You can have some coffee, tea, cereal, etc. Every room has different name on the door, with very cute keys by the way. The staff is very kind and can help you whenever you need. They invited us to a complimentary breakfast in the main property Blue House B&B - Icelandic pancakes and coffee. They also inform you if the sky is clear, and where you can catch the Aurora - next to the property 2min up the hill or on Grotta lighthouse 25 min walking. RECOMMEND Iceland is amazing. 🇮🇸❤️

Ubak Guesthouse, hotel in Reykjavík

Featuring garden views, Ubak Guesthouse in Reykjavík features accommodations, a garden, and a shared lounge. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge.

It was a lovely, cozy apartment cum guesthouse located near the Mjodd bus stop in Reykjavík, Iceland. The owner provided a kitchen facility, but we were unaware of it. A self-check-in option was there, and detailed instruction was written on an instruction paper. A Netto supermarket (Google could not identify Netto as a supermarket) was next to the bus stop, and a couple of restaurants and shops were also there. The house is located ~9 km away from the city center. Visitors should keep in mind that public transport is frequently unavailable on Sundays.

Audur Guesthouse, hotel in Reykjavík

Audur Guesthouse offers accommodations in Reykjavík, 1.4 miles from Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach and 29 miles from Blue Lagoon.

I was most nervous to have a shared bathroom but it was super clean! The rooms come with sinks to help ease the burden of the shared bathroom as well. My room was facing a main road so there was a bit of noise from passing traffic but I didn't mind it. Very cosy lighting and kept comfortably warm even in December. The location is really excellent, 10-15 minute walk to the main bus terminal, the Hallgrimskirkja church (bus stop #8), and bus stop #12 for tour pickups.

Alba Guesthouse, hotel in Reykjavík

This guest house offers free Wi-Fi and parking, plus a communal lounge and terrace. Reykjavík Domestic Airport and BSÍ Bus Terminal are within 3 minutes’ drive.

The breakfast was awesome and the property was very homely and comfortable. We were welcomed so warmly, even though our arrival was a little late and check in was super easy. There is a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away which made it very easy to explore Reykjavik from. Having not seen a lot of snow, we loved our view of the yard too

Very friendly host, who gave us a few tips about the city and detailed tour of the flat. You've got everything you need there. It is so nice furnished you even got a massage sofa and big screen tv with a mirroring option and HDMI cable. Fully equipped kitchen and bath with window. Free parking outside the premise and just few tens of meters away from paid parking zone, so the city center is very near (10min walk). We were 2 couples staying there for 4 nights, I could imagine us staying longer. Nice quiet neighborhood. Def value the money.

Lovely new, clean hostel, the staff were really great and helpful and it is a short (easy, 5-10 minute) walk from the Central bus station and a short, nice walk (10 minutes) to the city centre. It is cheaper than the hostels right in the city centre and excellent value for money. Plus the WiFi was brilliant. Definitely recommend👍

The guesthouse is very strategically close both to the city centre and the bus terminal (from which the buses to the airport depart directly, with no need to book for the drop off/ pick up service), but at the same is in a quiet and very green residential area. The room is small (but it was clear from the pictures posted, so no surprises there) but very clean and comfortable. Thorey was a great host and ready to help when I called her before arriving, and left very specific instructions for us regarding our stay. Lovely dog too!

Very good price for a single room in Reykjavik, was even cheaper than dorm-beds in some hostels! Good location, only a few minutes walk to city center. Supermarket next door, still the street itself is rather quiet. Very clean and also has basic equipment for cooking.

Plenty of toilets (4) and showers (3), kind hosts who were eager to help with small favours, tasty smörgåsbord breakfast, quiet rooms, classic Reykjavík home guesthouse! Easy access to city center by short walk.

Baron's Hostel is cheap, super clean, with very confortable beds. Dormitories are small, thus quiet. The hosts are charming and very helpful. The location is excellent, close to city centre and BSI. There's an excellent swimming pool just accross the street, with hot pots to relax after a busy day. I could'nt wish for a better place to stay in Reykjavik.

A great location in central Reykjavik. Easy waking to main attractions and a great base to explore further afield. Comfortable, quiet and warm apartment with cheap parking options (if onsite parking is full). Correspondence with the hosts was very efficient.

Access to the guesthouse is by email instructions which were clear and helpful. This is one of the cheapest hotels available at the moment in Reykjavik but the room was clean and bright. Wifi was good, shared bathroom also clean - if rather small - and the staff helpful. Bed was basic but comfortable and I slept well. The hotel is in a good location near to the city centre but in a quiet area.

Great location, relatively close to BSÍ and the city center. (10min walks) Quiet room with nice garden view. All of my requests were met and communication was great with the guesthouse. For this pricepoint, I'd recommend it.
