Great hosts, very friendly and so welcoming. Lovely room and the breakfast was top notch. Location was great and in close proximity to Alton towers which was the reason for our visit. Would 100% stay here again on our next visits and cannot recommend it enough 😊

When i arrived at the location, I was very impressed by the mannerism shown by my host Gabriel and the impeccable hospitality demonstrated by him and his assistant Jo. They were professional, riendly, approachable and had a welcoming demeanor. I was quickly informed the location was overbooked, and was offered relocation to a nearb site. I accepted reluctantly not knowing what to expect. Enroute to the proposed accommodation Gabriel was kind enough to stop at a local shop where I bought bottled water and some snacks. I appreciated his kindness considering I was coming directly from work and as a first time visitor to Stoke, I had no knowledge of where to find local shops in the area. On entering the property I found it secure and well maintained. The living/dining area boasts a pair of comfortable grey leather sofa and a flat screen TV. The area is complemented by a white dining table embellished with a beautiful bouquet. The table along with its 4 matching white chairs are strategically placed at the window where you can embrace the delicate morning sunshine by adjusting the vertical blinds. The highlight of the property is its fully equipped kitchen which facilitates self-catering to those who wish to show off their culinary skills. Provision is made for hot drinks. I believe this is mentioned in the advert. So you can enjoy at your leisure or if you have a few minutes to indulge. Upon entering my room I was impressed by the furnishings coupled with the decor of light grey and white. I could smell the fresh linen as it neatly dressed the double bed which beckoned me to come, as it appeared to promise a well needed night of rest and relaxation. As I peered into the ensuite, the milky white facilities and smear-free shower enclosure glistened as if smiling at me.

Room was clean and tidy.
We had loads of help from a long stay guest, Daniel.
Daniel helped us out tremendous as if he was the owner. Daniel needs some sort of recognition from the owner.

It was quiet and secure. The kitchen and laundry were good to have, but bring your own laundry soap. Owner was very nice- even brought fresh pastries one morning!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
As every time we have stayed everything was exceptional! The room was perfect,,breakfast great and Peter&Ali are perfect hosts!!!within an easy stroll to the racecourse and near to the town centre it is still a quiet place to stay.
The cottage was clean and comfortable, the hosts had supplied some nice little extras and they had thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable . It’s so quiet and the grounds are beautiful
Very clean and comfortable.
Great location; peaceful and quiet and only a short walk to the town centre and races.
Rachel was friendly and a great host.
Hosts were responsive to questions beforehand. Charming, easily accessible property, comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated and gleamingly clean.
Breakfast was lovely, delivered at a time of my choosing.
Quiet, private room, good facilities and bar service available on demand if required in the evening. Hosts were accommodating, David invited me to check in early when he saw me in the car park.
The hosts made us feel very welcomed, we had an overnight stay at the guest house, fabulous room & full English breakfast too, great location with its own car parking at rear, then we went to the classic motorcycle show, Stafford from there.
Great little find. Great location. Lovely friendly hosts. The breakfast with fresh fruit and yoghurt, toast and full English was fantastic. Would definately stay again
Interesting and quirky place. Quiet and comfortable, much more interesting and enjoyable than the anodyne offers of the hotels groups. Good choice of fresh fruit for breakfast and the best poached eggs over. Though this is a B&B the owner is happy for guests to bring food back in the evening and eat it in the café. Though I didn’t do so, I think bonus points should be awarded for that. Friendly and helpful hosts, recommended.
