The pub opposite, to which it is linked, and where breakfast is served, is one of the best we’ve ever visited. The ambience second to none, and the food was un unforgettable; delicious. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and their welcome and service was outstanding.

A great location, especially on a warm summers day. Hotel was very clean and quiet and the room was very charming. Breakfast was superb!
Loved my stay. Fabulous location. Comfortable bed, spacious room in a quiet setting. A short walk to the city centre. John is the perfect host, super friendly and went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again.
We both enjoyed the whole stay with the Bay tree. Overall great place to stay with a great host and a great breakfast. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. We felt very welcome and is in a great location for either a getaway or the obvious, Alton towers.

Great location for visiting Alton Towers without the hefty price tag. Cosy and quiet little home and great communication from host. I appreciated having things like tea/sugar/milk and toilet roll already there plus all the utensils for whatever you may need to cook.

Cosy and warm and quiet getaway.. loved location had to battle with signal but really wasn't much of a problem. Barbara and Angus sooo nice and welcoming great hosts. Having also seeing two other accommodations on this property will be back in touch to book these also. Perfect for those who need ground floor access. Easy access outside normal opening hours. Corrine & Michael where great hosts and run a friendly pub close to Lichfield. Easy to find and park. Basic but comfortable accommodation in quiet converted stable block next to a traditional old English country pub. Good value.
