Was ideally located, very pretty clean and tidy, the owners clearly take great pride in their business and were very pleasant and approachable. Me and my son stayed after a long busy day out we were very tired when we checked in and they had us in our room within minutes, rooms are lovey and clean very homely feel which was nice. In the morning we had breakfast which was also very fresh clean and enjoyable. Honestly couldn’t grumble about anything it’s exactly as advertised and a lovely place.

The level of cleanliness in the property was very poor. There were no tissue, soup in the toilet. Toilet sit was dirty. The bedding’s were not washed from the previous customer. So poor hygiene. Similar case in the kitchen. There were someone living in one of the rooms with a dog.

Hosts were responsive to questions beforehand. Charming, easily accessible property, comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated and gleamingly clean. Breakfast was lovely, delivered at a time of my choosing. Quiet, private room, good facilities and bar service available on demand if required in the evening. Hosts were accommodating, David invited me to check in early when he saw me in the car park.

Interesting and quirky place. Quiet and comfortable, much more interesting and enjoyable than the anodyne offers of the hotels groups. Good choice of fresh fruit for breakfast and the best poached eggs over. Though this is a B&B the owner is happy for guests to bring food back in the evening and eat it in the café. Though I didn’t do so, I think bonus points should be awarded for that. Friendly and helpful hosts, recommended.
