Awesome location. Superb breakfast, probably the best breakfast I have ever had at a b&b. Room was great, spacious and very comfortable. The place is very beautiful, including the super nice garden, and it is a historical building.

Carbis Bay Suite, Carbis Bay, St Ives, free parking, near beach, hotel in Penzance

Carbis Bay Suite, Carbis Bay, St Ives, free parking, near beach is a recently renovated guest house in Carbis Bay, near Carbis Bay Beach.

The room was comfortable, warm and freshly renovated. Check-in and out was easy, and the hosts communicated brilliantly. The location was great. Able to get down to the beach quickly; 10 - 15 minutes walk (we walk quickly...)--albeit there is a fairly steep hill to negotiate, but you have to come up the hill if you want to get anywhere at all from the beach, so it's unavoidable. I'm sure you can easily get a taxi back up if necessary.

My 3rd stay at The Pendennis so I must like it here! The ownership has changed since my last visit several years ago but the experience was as good as ever. Great location in a quiet street, and a comfy, cosy and homely house. The room was immaculate and the breakfasts were absolutely superb. Richard and Sarah are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. If the previous owners Russell and Hazel read this, fear not, The Pendennis is in VERY safe hands. I will be back!

I loved the cosiness and attention to detail - Louisa was a great hostess and even provided some eggs for breakfast from her precious chickens! It was a gorgeous, clean and inviting place - the perfect home away from home for a solo traveller. I liked that I could explore the immediate surroundings and come back for lunch to save myself a few bob! it was also a great location for the Minnack theatre and the sculpture gardens - Louisa gave me some great tips and ides for excursions and explorations. I had a fabulous time.
