Cornerways Guest House, hotel in St Ives

Cornerways Guest House is set in St Ives, 100 metres from Bamaluz Beach, 200 metres from Porthmeor Beach, and 200 metres from Porthgwidden Beach.

A gorgeous guest house, beautifully furnished, including all sorts of Cornish themes being pulled into the interior decor, which was really to be appreciated, given the mad, busy attraction St. Ives has become. Tucked away in a pretty, quiet, town lane, it’s a little gem of a place to duck into (hanging baskets overflowing and vibrant by the front door). Our room let us look out over the harbour, the bay, and all the coast at least as far as Godrevy Point, and on the slate rooftops close to, herring gulls touch down, just briefly! The place captures something of St. Ives very well, in a good way. Loved it.

Saltwater, hotel in St Ives

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Saltwater is situated in St Ives, less than 1 km from Porthminster Beach and a 11-minute walk from Bamaluz Beach.

The location is good for Tate St Ives and Porthmeor Beach but a bit further into town. I stayed in Room 5 and it was nice and spacious for just me. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was lovely to see the sea from both the front and back windows. The owners were friendly by email/text and quick to respond.

My 3rd stay at The Pendennis so I must like it here! The ownership has changed since my last visit several years ago but the experience was as good as ever. Great location in a quiet street, and a comfy, cosy and homely house. The room was immaculate and the breakfasts were absolutely superb. Richard and Sarah are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. If the previous owners Russell and Hazel read this, fear not, The Pendennis is in VERY safe hands. I will be back!

I loved the cosiness and attention to detail - Louisa was a great hostess and even provided some eggs for breakfast from her precious chickens! It was a gorgeous, clean and inviting place - the perfect home away from home for a solo traveller. I liked that I could explore the immediate surroundings and come back for lunch to save myself a few bob! it was also a great location for the Minnack theatre and the sculpture gardens - Louisa gave me some great tips and ides for excursions and explorations. I had a fabulous time.
