Dionard Guest House, hotel in Inverness

A 17-minute walk from Inverness Train Station, Dionard Guest House offers 4-star accommodations in the Inverness City Centre district of Inverness.

The hotel room was very quaint and cozy with just the right amenities provided. The host was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable and provided use a great intoduction to the town and where to seek out entertainment and food. The info book provided in the room allowed us to plan out our stay in the area and gave us info on good places to find entertainment and soemthing to eat. The sweets by the bedside were a nice touch along with the books and other interesting things relating to the area found in the suites living area. The location was great as it was a short walk to town centre and very easy to get into and out of for the remaining leg of our trip. Parking on site was great. I would recommend the Dionard Guest House to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Inverness. Breakfast was also wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay at Carisbrooke Guest House. The host, Joy, was kind and welcoming. He provided a wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices each morning. We stayed in a room with an ensuite bath, which was quiet and private. Just a short walk into Inverness city center, this was a perfect location to stay for several days while exploring the area.

Beinn Mhor Lodge, hotel in Inverness

Beinn Mhor Lodge offers accommodations in Inverness, 1.7 miles from Inverness Train Station and 2.1 miles from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness.

Our host, Maryanne, was simply wonderful. Her house is warm, inviting, and clean--more than we could have asked for, especially for the price. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was incredible. We were also able to login to Netflix, which was a nice touch. Maryanne also inspired us to take a tour of the Isle of Skye, which was easily our most favorite part of our journey through Scotland.

Adrian's Guest House, hotel in Inverness

Just a 11-minute walk from Inverness Train Station and 700 yards from Inverness Museum & Art Gallery, Adrian's Guest House features accommodations in Inverness, with a garden.

The location was perfect, we were a few blocks from downtown Inverness without feeling like we were in the middle of the city. Luigi was great at assisting us with our car when we couldn't fit it into the parking area (side mirrors wouldn't collapse), and was able to provide alternate accommodation. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. The first day we had the full Scottish, which was more than plenty. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked. The second morning we opted for the Continental which was still plenty of food for the lighter option. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.

A clean and charming house at a very good location - a quiet street, 10 min walk from the city center and right next to a big supermarket. The reality is not different from the pictures and the description. The host is fantastic - very friendly and experienced - also available for a chat or a travel advice (if he is not busy making fresh coffee or preparing the perfect poached egg as part of the fantastic breakfast this place offers). I would gladly stay here again!

Very clean room and bathroom. Super comfortable bed and warm and cosy bedroom. The bathroom has a very good shower and all was clean and in good order. Internet was fast and easy. Great location. The guest house is on a quiet road but its very easy to get to the city centre - just a 5 minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. The co-op supermarket is in easy distance for snacks etc. The hostess is very charming, and although there was some confusion about the booking it was sorted out easily and gracefully.

Great location, just 15/20 minutes walk from the city centre and still very quiet. The room was exactly as described and looked better in reality than the photos. The options for the continental breakfast were great, as was the host. Will definitely be back again and would highly recommend this accommodation

If you are looking for a great place to stay whilst in Inverness then look no further. Malcom and Maggie were absolutely brilliant; friendly and welcoming. The guest house is only 5 minutes walk from the city centre, yet it’s in a quiet street so you will get a goodnight sleep. Maggie’s makes a Michelin star breakfast to set you for the day. They are both great hosts and went above and beyond so that I enjoyed my time Inverness. I would definitely stay here again.
