Exceptionally clean, very warm welcome and fond farewell
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The guesthouse has a great location, close to the city centre (about 15 minute walk).
The room was very clean and cosy with lovely decor. Absolutely no problem with the main street; was quiet enough at night!

A clean and charming house at a very good location - a quiet street, 10 min walk from the city center and right next to a big supermarket. The reality is not different from the pictures and the description. The host is fantastic - very friendly and experienced - also available for a chat or a travel advice (if he is not busy making fresh coffee or preparing the perfect poached egg as part of the fantastic breakfast this place offers). I would gladly stay here again!

Great location. The guest house is on a quiet road but its very easy to get to the city centre - just a 5 minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. The co-op supermarket is in easy distance for snacks etc.
The hostess is very charming, and although there was some confusion about the booking it was sorted out easily and gracefully.

If you are looking for a great place to stay whilst in Inverness then look no further. Malcom and Maggie were absolutely brilliant; friendly and welcoming. The guest house is only 5 minutes walk from the city centre, yet it’s in a quiet street so you will get a goodnight sleep. Maggie’s makes a Michelin star breakfast to set you for the day. They are both great hosts and went above and beyond so that I enjoyed my time Inverness. I would definitely stay here again.
