What great luck to have booked Barns for our stay in Ayr! Our room and bath were comfortable and spotless - but the highlight was the gorgeously equipped kitchen and the pleasant dining room. We had a lovely evening taking a break from pub food and takeaways, enjoying our own supper - and breakfast!

This guest house was walkable from the train station and had a bus stop right out front. The owners were exceptionally nice, and very helpful. They provided both fully-cooked and continental breakfasts.

In over a month of travel, this had to be the most comfortable bed we have slept in. Lovely sheets as well. Breakfast is wonderful- lots of options. The staff were very friendly and meals in their restaurant were quite good. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent, very cute area to enjoy the scenery, and the morning view was beautiful.
The room was spacious, I travelled with my mom and we did like having our own separate bedrooms. The decor was done really well, it was very cute and a cozy feeling in our rooms.
The beds were very comfortable, the bedding was clean and comfortably. We were also happy to have our own bathroom.

Good bed and breakfast on a quiet residential street, very close to Ayr Beach and only a few streets back from the town centre of Ayr. Paul was a good host and the breakfast room was lovely.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Inverlea guest house. Liz was a wonderful host and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was outstanding (the porridge was excellent) and the room and en-suite was immaculate. It is situated on a quiet road but is accessible to the beach and shops etc. The house itself is stunning and the gardens are beautiful. We will definitely be back.
Great location for everything own private parking. Apartment was super modern and clean. Bed was really comfy too. couldn’t fault it plus Derek was a great host.
Brian is a great host, very informative from the moment we booked, he had lots of great recommendations aswell which helped with two small children. the apartment was immaculate throughout and there are lots of little helpful things including milk, pop, biscuits and other bits left for when we arrived which was a lovely touch. great location, close to the beach, train station and supermarkets. Would definitely stay here again if we where in the area.
Great location very near to the town centre but in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Car parking was easy with a reserved space in front of the apartment block. Lovely host who met us to let us in and hand over the keys. Good contact with her throughout our visit. Apartment had everything we required to self cater for three days. Note - on the second floor but stairs and lift available.
