An awesome place! Super chill vibe. Jenny, the owner, is diligent, caring and basically great. The pool is such a relief during the hot days here. Plenty of room choices. Overlooking football pitch, nice! Did I mention Jenny’s Tío loco? Always available to help! Super nice group here. I stayed longer than planned. There are plenty of beers available at very reasonable prices. Jenny promises to add Corona Tropical to the mix for the low carb crew. Gracias Sierraventura Hostel!! I’ll be back! 🤙

The location it’s horrible, and if you are looking to have a peaceful night/afternoon this is not your place, the door make so much noise and there is people on the streets that will not let you sleep, speaking loud, kids playing by your window and loud music just across the street, no nice.

It is nice , and I think for the price that I payed it is very good.
It was clean and the woman on the reception is very kind and sweet.
I think is close to the beach in the end of the day eventough is not right on the beach is 15 minutes walking.
It has a store near by.
Playa grande is good by walking if you like to walk will be like 35 minutes, if you don't want to walk you can always pay a boat.

Hostess was really kind and helpful. Kept our bags while we went to Tayrona for a night, let us shower when we came back, and arranged our boat trip and airport taxis.

Lovely place- lots of communal spots to relax, and there is a natural breeze which really helps with the heat of Taganga! And sometimes the courtyard is visited by iguanas!

Excellent location, walking distance from the beach but in a quiet setting. Bg property with lots of privacy, beautiful terrasse with a view. Wifi was efficient enough for me to hold videoconference meetings. Sandra the host was the most welcoming, providing guidance and bonus point, she speaks not only spanish but english and perfect french!

This was the perfect place for our stay in Taganga. Casa Tara is about 10min walk from the main beach area where all the bars and restaurants are, which makes it a quiet stay. The room was very cosy and spacious. Andres is such a great host, made us feel right at home and helped us with any questions we had. We would definitely go back anytime!
This was a great hostel, we loved it! The employees are very nice, it is well situated, the price is very good. There are double rooms with private bathroom for only 8€. But if you are looking for a bit more comfort, I would recommend the rooms which are a bit more expensive (but still quite cheap). There is a sweet and cute ginger kitten who walks around in the hallway. The beach (5') is so beautiful and fun, with a lot of bars and restaurants and amazing sunsets! A lot of diving possibilities nearby.
Superb. We couldn’t ask for anything more. Our kind host Giuliano made sure we were looked after from start to finish. Great location 100 metres from the sea. Well equipped kitchen. The room was spacious with a nice comfortable bed and the fan was sufficient at night to keep us cool. Quiet at night so no issues sleeping. Once again we couldn’t ask for more. Many thanks.
