The location is a dream, close to the ocean and a natural pool. You can have a beautiful view of the ocean even seated in the bed. Maria, our hostess, was particularly pleasant, full of energy and advice on the main tourist attractions. He offered us a trip to Orongo from the house and was a good guide when visiting this site.

The host is very kind and hospitable. The included breakfast is good, during the stay there I felt like I was at the village with my grandmother. The city center is in 30-40 minutes of walking.

The property was charming with great host and hostess. As they couldn't speak English, they got their friend to pick us up from the airport and did a quick tour of the town with us, pointing at key areas to get food or buy national park tickets. We had a welcome drink and although they don't serve breakfast, they bought bread for us and coffee/ tea was free for us to use. We had a room with an ensuite bathroom and although the room was not very large, it was adequate for our use. The room was designed/ decorated with great charm and coziness. Also, the kitchen area was free for us to use. We were overall very satisfied with the property.
Just an extra note re the location as it is slightly out of the centre of town (around 15 mins walk). But it was no problem for us as we like the quietness away from the bustle and we enjoyed a good walk. Also, this place is close to one of the key attractions (i.e. Tahai).

The two women who work there are lovely and very helpful. There is also a free airport shuttle, which is great considering there’s no public transport on the island.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Kind hosts. Comfortable beds, hot shower, peaceful, quiet. We enjoyed a lovely stay at Petero & Moana’s home. The quiet, spacious house had everything we needed with a 3 year old. The beds were really comfortable and we also enjoyed the hot shower. Petero and Moana were also really kind, caring, friendly, and we enjoyed meeting them. We hope to be back in beautiful Easter Island and their home someday.
Clean, spacious, quiet, beautiful. 2 minutes from beautiful sunset and stargazing locations. Christophe is a dream host, one of the kindest persons I’ve ever met. He showed us the city, gave tips, brought us into the city by car when the weather was bad and he’s really funny.
There is an “initial breakfast kit” with butter, jam, juice and water in the fridge the first day, and you get fresh bread every morning.
Really comfy bed, laid back and friendly hosts, airport pick up & drop off, great location overlooking sea, easy walk to town and port and amazing breakfast included.
Our host was absolutely fantastic - super friendly, helpful, and ended up being our (mandatory) guide to visit the moai which was much cheaper than another guide. They help you organise anything you need and you are picked up (for free) from the airport and also dropped off. The rooms are very comfy, mine had a balcony which was lovely. Price is good considering the expense of being on the island. You could pay cash or card.
The accomodation is nice and clean. It is very quiet but still central. Andres was a great host, he showed us around in town and drove us to the airport at the end. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. There’s also the possibility to rent a car from him, which is way cheaper than at the rental companies.
A fantastic stay! Such a beautiful setting - an amazing view with sunsets over the ocean, wonderful cabin with everything you need, and peace and quiet just a short stroll (or drive) from town. The tours that were organised for us were brilliant too. Fiji and Jerome were such great hosts - Merci!
great location, central but very quiet, loved having the kitchenette, the host was amazing: friendly, accommodating, provided helpful information before arrival and during our stay!
