Cute funky cottage with loft sleeping area, easy to manage stairs to the loft. Resident cat made herself comfortable. :) Got to feed the sheep by hand. Very engaging and welcoming hosts.

We booked a dinner and it was delicous. Jasmine is really great at cooking and we got an overwhelming breakfast. They fulfilled everything we have asked for. It was a really great stay and we absolutely recommend it!

Se ci si vuole rilassare in un luogo tranquillo immersi nella natura, questo è il posto giusto! La piccola casetta posta nel cortile di una fattoria in posizione appartata, ha tutto ciò che serve, persino un angolo cottura con tanto di fornello a gas, dove noi abbiamo cucinato le ottime uova che ci ha lasciato la gentilissima proprietaria e che abbiamo mangiato all aperto sul tavolino della veranda. Ogni tanto passano dei simpatici e strani polli che razzolano in giro in cerca di cibo e qualche gatto (purtroppo non si sono avvicinati e non ho potuto coccolarli). La mattina ci si sveglia col cinguettio degli uccellini... fantastico! Se si vuole poi, a disposizione degli ospiti, c è anche una vasca idromassaggio e una sala relax appena dietro la casa principale. Per la colazione nel frigorifero c è il latte, caffè, tè, cereali e le uova appunto. Insomma, se siete solo di passaggio o volete fermarvi in zona (vicinissimo c è il lago e anche uno splendido mare) e volete alloggiare in un posto particolare e tranquillo, è un ottima scelta!

The cottage was very comfortable, warm and cozy. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and most importantly very helpful. The 4WD farm tour is must-do, the views you’ll never get to see.

The house is in a quiet landscape with surrounding grassland with cows, sheep, rabbits. Aspects that really stand out include the views- the mountains behind the house, the sun rising over the ocean in front of the house, and the house itself, which is large, with an upstairs loft bedroom and very comfortable living room downstairs. Indigo has furnished and decorated it beautifully. We really enjoyed her friendly hospitality. Kaikoura is nearby with fine walks and restaurants.

Lois and Brendon went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond when we were out one day and it rained.They had our washing on the bed when we got home, especially appreciated as we flew out the next day. We will definitely return.
