Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Bauchops Hill Station Farmstay is set in Burkes Pass, 31 km from Mt. Dobson. Very quiet and calm location, best place for digital detox! The cottage was very comfortable, warm and cozy. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and most importantly very helpful. The 4WD farm tour is must-do, the views you’ll never get to see.

Featuring mountain views, Bramley's Stables and Accommodation offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 22 km from Christchurch Art Gallery. We absolutely loved this place - spacious, comfortable, beautifully set out and decorated including a cosy log burner fired up and ready for arrival. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the accommodation was ideally situated away from the main town centre but easy to find and not far off the main route, within easy reach of restaurants, supermarkets and attractions - perfectly peaceful and relaxing. Would and should have stayed longer - a real gem :)

I liked the opportunity to watch the goat and sheep milking and to hand feed the ducklings. I loved the breakfast and the chance to interact with our hosts. I enjoyed seeing the various stages of spinning wool.

This was a unique New Zealand experience to stay on a sheep farm but in such lovely accommodations. The suite was beautiful in every way and Karen's hospitality in showing us around the farm was wonderful. Recommend to anyone wanting to experience real New Zealand lifestyle
