A very kind host who offered great restaurant recommendations. we really enjoyed our stay in this home overlooking the sea and surrounded by olives.

The venue had been picked for personal reasons due to its location to the River Sangro where there was fierce fighting in November 1943. The views across the plain, towards the mountains were superb and certainly gave a good idea of the terrain. Our room was perfect, had everything we needed. We asked for dinner and were fed like royalty. A delicious 3 course meal served with beer, wine and copious supplies of water. Breakfast the next morning, all you could want. Second night's meal we opted to sit outside and watch the sun go down. A magnificent 3 course meal again with beer, wine etc. We fully expected a much higher charge when we came to pay the bills as we had not thought to question cost but were very pleasantly surprised. Would certainly stay again if in the area.

I loved the area. relaxed attitudes for Italy. not touristy.

The facility was amazing and Renato was tentative to all our requests. He went above and beyond that we felt at home and like family. The restaurant and food was incredible! Let's not forget the views:)!! I can't say enough, we will definitely return.
