A very kind host who offered great restaurant recommendations. we really enjoyed our stay in this home overlooking the sea and surrounded by olives.

Hostess was lovely and helpful and thank goodness for Google translate. The venue had been picked for personal reasons due to its location to the River Sangro where there was fierce fighting in November 1943. The views across the plain, towards the mountains were superb and certainly gave a good idea of the terrain. Our room was perfect, had everything we needed. We asked for dinner and were fed like royalty. A delicious 3 course meal served with beer, wine and copious supplies of water. Breakfast the next morning, all you could want. Second night's meal we opted to sit outside and watch the sun go down. A magnificent 3 course meal again with beer, wine etc. We fully expected a much higher charge when we came to pay the bills as we had not thought to question cost but were very pleasantly surprised. Would certainly stay again if in the area.

The owner was extremely accommodating, we arrived at midnight and he waited for us. The agriturismo was exceptionally clean, beautiful surroundings and the breakfast was all homemade.

Boasting mountain views, Agriturismo Tenuta Umberto I provides accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge, around 38 km from Majella National Park. the location was great. beautiful view, quiet, little town to shop. the space was large and designed well. it was very comfortable. bathroom had a lot of space in shower, around sink, easy to organize and use facilities. every room was large and well laid out with nice views from windows which opened with screens. it was hot, but AC was functional and fresh air from windows and breeze in bedroom was great. breakfast was super with homemade baked goods.. hosts were fantastic.. always cheerful and pleasant.. I loved the area. relaxed attitudes for Italy. not touristy.

A real find for those looking for rustic Italy. Sincere recommendations!

This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking.... The facility was amazing and Renato was tentative to all our requests. He went above and beyond that we felt at home and like family. The restaurant and food was incredible! Let's not forget the views:)!! I can't say enough, we will definitely return.
