We were surprised to find out that the studio looks different from the pictures. The host told us that they just finished to renovate the place and the result is stunning. A very large room with comfortable bad, nicely equipped kitchen, a dining table and a sitting spot next to the window with a view comming out of a journal. The nice owners were very welcoming and insisted meeting us personally upon our arrival, something really seen in today's self check in systems.

Guesthouse Brúnahlíð, a property with a terrace, is situated in Aðaldalur, 33 km from Godafoss Waterfall, 35 km from Myvatn Nature Baths, as well as 23 km from Husavik Golf Club. The place was super nice and comfortable. It is like a small apartment just for yourself but not too small that you feel overwhelmed, it is indeed quite big. The owners left some eggs from their farm for us to have in the morning and there was everything you could need in the kitchen (even coffee, oil, sugar and tea) and bathroom.

Com diuen altres comentaris les parets son molt fines i per tant segons amb qui coincideixis al costat pot ser un inconvenient. Nosaltres no va ser el cas i hi vam estar molt bé. També a tenir en compte el que es comenta de la pudor de l'aigua calenta, però això ja forma part del teu viatge a Islàndia. La propietària simpàtica.

Amazing view from the comfortable large studio overlooking the small valley and the river (we got lucky with the weather). The owner Magnus and the employees working at the Farm are extremely friendly and we had a nice chat over a beer in the evening. Horse riding tour highly suggested. The studio has a small equipped kitchen and very good WiFi.

Located in Laugar and only 14 km from Godafoss Waterfall, Öndólfsstaðir Farm B&B provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. El tracte ha estat immillorable. L'esmorzar és boníssim i variat, amb productes seus o de granges properes (salmó fumat, galetes casolanes, ous ferrats de les seves gallines, etc.), tot i que també n'ofereixen de més típics o comprats (com Nutella). L'habitació tenia bona mida, amb vistes al camp. Estava tot molt net. M'hauria agradat quedar-me més dies per tastar altres coses i aprendre més sobre Islàndia, ja que és molt fàcil parlar amb l'Abba i ens ha resolt alguns dubtes que teníem.

The location was beautiful, the staff were friendly (special thanks to Emma who was our horse riding guide). Extremely good value for money, was surprised we had the whole place to ourselves. Kitchen was modern and nice. Beds were comfy and the place was clean.

Antiga granja o casa típica de la zona convertida en guesthouse. A prop de la ring road pero suficientment lluny com perquè no molestés. Cuina ben equipada i molt gran, sala d'estar molt acollidora. Habitació molt gran i comode i amb molt bones vistes (vam poguer gaudir de les Aurores Boreals des de l'habitació). Vam coneixer el propietari, molt amable. Va deixar la casa en mans del housekeeper, també molt amable, va afavorir en crear un clima agradable i familiar entre els hostes. Ens vam trobar com a casa.
