Clifden
5 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial in Clifden, Fernwood offers accommodation with access to a sauna. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the farm stay free of charge. Outdoor furniture is available for guests to relax or dine outside. The location and the property, we stayed in the Dome, was excellent. It is such a unique and cosy place to stay. It is well equipped, amazingly furnished and the wood fired oven is a really nice add on. The bed was super comfortable and the view when we woke up was unreal. It is also great to wander around the area, walk the rope bridge, visit the lake or enjoy the sauna and plunge pool. We will be back! 20 out of 10!

Everything friendly safe and lots of animals to see in the morning.
The location was perfect for us. We had stayed 5 nights in the busy city of Dublin and were ready for some peace and quiet which is exactly what Corrib View Farmhouse offers while still being close to Galway city. The apartment was modern and roomy.
Lovely rural location. Could look out to fields and see the wildlife and cattle. Peaceful and quiet with all facilities you could need. The whole place seemed very new and was up together, good TV and internet reception if needed. Mary was there for us if needed but gave you privacy even though living in the main farmhouse adjacent.
We had booked a room in this beautiful castle for one night. The room we first had seemed e a bit small, especially the bed was short for my tall husband. We asked for another room and we were moved into a wonderful farmhouse in the courtyard of the castle. So we had a superior accommodation in two floors including living room with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It was beyond expectations! The personnel in the castle was very nice and helpful and breakfast was also very good in a gorgeous milieu.
The property is off the beaten track, very rural and quiet. The beds were comfortable and it had a lovely bathroom. The kitchen was modernised and had all that we needed. “Rustic” is the term that springs to mind for the property. It could be improved with cleanliness and finish. It was adequate for our 2 night stay. The host was very helpful when we couldn’t find the property but we were close by.
Very helpful host. Comfy farmhouse feel to property
We were staying in the self-catering accommodation linked to the farmhouse and it was in a beautiful location, a few miles outside Galway. We had all the facilities we needed, and convenient parking just outside the property. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely stay.
Quaint farmhouse stay. Donna and Micheal are both wonderful hosts. Room is beautiful and spacious.
