Battens Farm is a working organic farm located in the Cotswolds, 2 miles from the village of Castle Combe, recently used to film 'War Horse', and 11 miles from Bath, the roman spa city. It has a beautiful location, a comfortable stay and a stunning cottage.

Hosts were very helpful in making sure we could find the place easily. There was lots of lovely attention to detail. Games to play .Milk had been left for us in the fridge so we could have a cuppa. Really cosy atmosphere when we walked in fairy lights and lamps had been turned on. Shower was nice and hot the bed was extra comfy. Not a single complaint . Might benefit from a matt as you walk in though the door matt outside was very wet from the snow/ rain we didn't want to walk wet shoes in. Wonderful stay .

Objekat Finest Retreats - Rusty Lane, Safari Lodge nudi vrt i pogled na vrt, a nalazi se u gradu Seend, na 11 km od znamenitosti Opatija Lacock i 24 km od znamenitosti Univerzitet Bath. The whole vibe was amazing. Loved the decor and the little touches- the lights and the furniture were magical. It was honestly the perfect place to stay. I wish we didn’t have a weekend full of activities planned so we could have just stayed there all weekend! The bathroom was lush and the shower amazing. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. Sitting outside on an evening was my favourite thing to do! We’ll be back!!!

Fiona was an amazing host, the farm was more than we could ask for. The breakfast was incredible as well, highly recommended.

In a peaceful countryside location, only 11 km from Bath, these beautifully converted farm buildings offer self catering cottages and en suite rooms with their own separate entrance. The cosy feel to the cottage was lovely, so warm too when the fire is going.
