Set in a beautiful village, with a great pub nearby. The accommodation was super and Sarah the host was amazing. My wife was doing a race so we needed to leave at 6am. Sarah was up to make us delicious full breakfast sandwiches to take with us. Highly recommended!

The location was great, as it was private, but close to Castle Coombe. We enjoyed the breakfast which Michael prepared, which was very generous portions. We felt very comfortable and it felt like home.

Hosts were very helpful in making sure we could find the place easily. There was lots of lovely attention to detail. Games to play .Milk had been left for us in the fridge so we could have a cuppa. Really cosy atmosphere when we walked in fairy lights and lamps had been turned on. Shower was nice and hot the bed was extra comfy. Not a single complaint . Might benefit from a matt as you walk in though the door matt outside was very wet from the snow/ rain we didn't want to walk wet shoes in. Wonderful stay .

Loved the decor and the little touches- the lights and the furniture were magical. It was honestly the perfect place to stay. I wish we didn’t have a weekend full of activities planned so we could have just stayed there all weekend! The bathroom was lush and the shower amazing. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. Sitting outside on an evening was my favourite thing to do! We’ll be back!!!

This was the perfect place to relax and recharge after 10 days on the road. Our hosts Victoria and Geoffrey were charming and the equestrian vibe relaxing. Excellent breakfast and designated sitting room. Meeting local colourful characters is always fun, and we were not disappointed. The farmhouse dates back to 1776 and the original exposed timber featured throughout. The nearby Rattlebone Inn was an ideal dinner venue. For those lucky enough to time their trip for harvest time, the acres of sunflowers were magnificent. We should have stayed longer.
Dinton

The owner was absolutely lovely, welcoming and helpful. The farmhouse was pretty impressive and our room was the suite in the old part, very comfortable, clean , quiet. The breakfasts were very good, cooked to order and one could have any combination of foods. Sarah the owner made it a pleasure to be there.We really enjoyed our stay as it was well situated to visit Stonehenge & Avebury Circle, and made my big birthday trip memorable. We would be more than happy to book again and would have liked to have had time to explore the area more.
Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each morning during our stay. Our hosts were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to ensure that we were made to feel very welcome and well looked after. The accommodation is within the host's own home which is a charming listed farm house with lots of amazing features. It is also a working farm so each morning we woke up to the sound of either the cattle or the chickens. The location is beautiful with stunning views over the countryside and farm - ideal for a peaceful, relaxed break.
We had a lovely farm stay at Scotland Lodge, the lodge is set in a beautiful farm, the room is equipped with everything you need. The lodge was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We would love to stay again :)
Brilliant location on a working farm. Stayed in the Farmhouse overlooking the courtyard and fields. The farm house breakfast was brilliant with other options including salmon and scrambled egg. You know you are in the countryside when you turn of the lights and its totally dark.
Excellent location, farmhouse in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by trees and bushes while close to major sights. Debbie was a wonderful host. Lavish breakfasts. Bathroom is a few meters away across the corridor, not en-suite, but you have basically the whole floor for yourselves and we felt perfect privacy all the time. It way like a stay in 2nd home to us. Horse Barn was the perfect location for family holidays in Wiltshire. The house was comfortable and spacious, the kitchen well equipped, the hosts were friendly, kind and nice, and the possibility to buy farm products was very welcome to us. In short: everything was marvellous and if possible we would certainly love to come back one day!
Room very nice indeed, its an old farmhouse so expect wibbly wobbly floors, beams etc. I love the old charm. Dinner was fantastic, chef is very good. I had a belly pork with veggies which were perfect. I would love crackling but never mind. Young man on reception desk got his own charm, you get what you see. Again I love it. Can't comment on breakfast - we opt out .
A lovely stay at these farmhouse cottages in a very rural area. The cottage was just delightful and the welcome just as warm.
The owners of Newton Farmhouse have presented a very comfortable and clean place to stay. Old barn appearance on the outside but inside had a clean modern bathroom and comfortable / cosy living area. Whilst it is on the road to Southhampton one may expect a lot of traffic noise. I can tell you that is not the case. Could hardly hear traffic noise once inside. We visit the this area regularly and would not hesitate in using the accomodation again.
