Location couldn‘t be any better: calm outside of Salento, but within 10 minutes walking you‘re down at the village. Beautiful view above Salento!! The owner is happy to give recommendations what to do in the surrounding area (and has an amazing artesanry chocolate production!)

It was a simple room and a little crowded, but we had five people staying in three beds and it is understandable. The grounds were very nice with a good pool and restaurant area. Some other guests were having a 15th birthday party for a girl (a significant event in Colombia) and kindly invited me to join them - I had a nice punch and piece of cake. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Colombian's are some of the most accommodating and gracious people I've encountered in my travels to 60 countries.
