Rancho Ventura, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Filandia, 41 km from Ukumari Zoo, 19 km from National Coffee Park, as well as 23 km from Panaca. The Experience at Rancho Ventura was amazing, David and his family were so welcoming showing us around the Ranch and daily life there. We were also brought on this walk through a river on there property which was spectacular. For any fellow backpackers that are unsure about getting there, there's a local Willy jeep from Salento to Filandia (9000 COP one way, although if you're getting in late to Salento they could be sold out so just make sure not to get caught on that.) And then in Filandia there's a local Willy jeep that goes out to the road where the ranch is on. (3500 COP one way, photo with red circle is location). The local jeep runs every day making it easy to get into Filandia and explore.

Situated in Villamaría, Las Hamacas (Hospedaje Rural) features a bar, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The property has lake and garden views, and is 8.1 km from Manizales Cable Car Station. Extremely hospitable and helpful hosts who connected us to a great guide (Alejandro) who took us to Los Nevados national park. The flower garden with views of the Andean foothills is very pleasant and the hammock patio that surrounds the house is a great place to relax. If you want a place to stay that feels like you're welcomed into a nice rural home then this is a great option. There is also a pair of modest outdoor bar/restaurants a short walk away for watching the sunset or looking at the lights of Manizales.

Finca Hostal La Esperanza, a property with a garden, is located in Quimbaya, 39 km from Ukumari Zoo, 10 km from Panaca, as well as 17 km from National Coffee Park.

Boasting an open-air bath, garden and views of garden, Hotel campestre La Esperanza en Dios is situated in Montenegro, 11 km from National Coffee Park. The staff was super friendly and always ready to assist, the location was perfect to move around the region and the premises and amenities were beyond were expecting.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Hacienda Cafetera La Gaviota is set in Chinchiná, 44 km from Ukumari Zoo and 27 km from Viaduct between Pereira and Dosquebradas. WOW. The time that i spent at the finca was definitely the most memorable experience I had during my entire trip to Colombia. First of all this is not a hotel, this is Jorge and his beautiful wife's house. You share a day in their lives and experience the real coffee farm life with them and they definitely go out of their way to make u feel welcome and comfortable. There are only 3 rooms in the house so if you are lucky enough to find an available room, don't hesitate and book it! The finca is surrounded by coffee trees. The price you pay includes a traditional breakfast, a coffee farm tour as well as a real Barista class where you get to make coffee with 5 different tools and have a tasting afterwards with Jorge. There are plenty of nice hikes aronud the house as well and absolutely no other tourists around. They were very kind to prepare a traditional lunch and give me a ride back to chinchina too. If you are after a real coffee experience and no touristy stuff, i recommend you choose to stay with them and witness a day in their life.

Casa de Campo Sao Paulo is situated in La Tebaida and has a private pool and pool views. Boasting full-day security, this property also has a family-friendly restaurant and a sun terrace. The place was beautiful and the attention was excellent

Featuring mountain views, Finca Hotel Villa Clara provides accommodation with water sports facilities, a garden and a shared lounge, around 40 km from Ukumari Zoo. We could write a long list of things that we loved about this property. To start, the grounds and view are absolutely stunning. We could see all the way to Manizales from the property! Our kids spent hours playing on the swing set, playing soccer, playing billiards, and swimming in the pool. In the evenings we watched Netflix in the room. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and Carolina, the host, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. She even took us on a tour of the coffee farm for a reasonable fee. We learned so much, had fun, and got to taste different varieties of amazing coffee! We ate every item on the menu at the on-site restaurant, and each was deliciously prepared by Lilianna, who adapted items for a vegetarian family member, and was so patient with our poor Spanish. We were very comfortable in our big room and the beds we so comfortable, when sharing with our kids we couldn't tell when they were rolling over. We slept, ate, and spent time well at Villa Clara. Highly recommended!
