The effort to get there from Filandia involved two jeep rides, but we are glad we got off the beaten track. Once at the hotel transportation to town was easy. In addition there were frequent buses to a trailhead which accessed a number of waterfalls. Plus the hosts were very hospitable and shared valuable information. We will return.

There is also a pair of modest outdoor bar/restaurants a short walk away for watching the sunset or looking at the lights of Manizales.

Overall, our time at this hotel was a delightful escape, thanks to the wonderful hosts who made us feel like valued guests. Set in Calarcá and only 29 km from National Coffee Park, Finca Bella Vista offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing place to relax and enjoy nature. From the moment you arrive you feel at home. Don Ricardo and Doña Claudia are warm and kind people, making sure you enjoy your time. The place has really friendly and cheerful dogs and other animals. Don Ricardo usually organizes trekkings in the nature with the dogs, really recommended! One of the best places I have ever been.

Since very first moment we entered it seemed we got home some close to little land of paradise. Beautiful garden, terrace to enjoy bird watching or simply sipping a glass of wine. It was our last stop after tour around eje cafetero and I must say, I wish we discovered it before. It is in perfect location to make it as your hub for day trips around eje cafetero. In terms of facilities, you have spacious bedroom and terrace. Good night sleep ensured as it is in peaceful location. Shower and hot water works perfectly. And breakfast with host company is perfect combo ☺️

Offering mountain views, Finca Hotel Villa Clara in Chinchiná provides accommodation, water sports facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. We could write a long list of things that we loved about this property. To start, the grounds and view are absolutely stunning. We could see all the way to Manizales from the property! Our kids spent hours playing on the swing set, playing soccer, playing billiards, and swimming in the pool. In the evenings we watched Netflix in the room. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and Carolina, the host, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. She even took us on a tour of the coffee farm for a reasonable fee. We learned so much, had fun, and got to taste different varieties of amazing coffee! We ate every item on the menu at the on-site restaurant, and each was deliciously prepared by Lilianna, who adapted items for a vegetarian family member, and was so patient with our poor Spanish. We were very comfortable in our big room and the beds we so comfortable, when sharing with our kids we couldn't tell when they were rolling over. We slept, ate, and spent time well at Villa Clara. Highly recommended!

Providing garden views, Ecohotel Campo Alegre Norcasia Caldas in Norcasia offers accommodation, an open-air bath, a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. Hotels in a beautiful area the staff is nice and the food there is excellent. They have air conditioning only in a few rooms, thank God cuz it's very hot there. Showers only have cold water but that's fine because it's hot outside. Did a boat tour on the lake to waterfalls swimming areas great way to spend the day. Definitely recommend this place for a visit for a few days. Also like the swimming pool was excellent.
