Fantastic choice for a 2 night break from the Portuguese Camino. A good walk outside of town but with a great restaurant near by it was perfect. We loved the shared sitting & dining spaces for our down time.
Breakfast provisions were awesome as was the meal delivered on our 2nd night from a local restaurant. Fabia was a delightful host 🤩

Very friendly welcome to this multi-generational family home in a lovely quiet, rural location. The swimming pool was amazing - spotlessly clean, wonderful to dip into after a day's walk on the Camino. The hosts were very accommodating - saying we could leave a little later in the morning if we wanted to have another swim! Lemon trees in the orchard - we picked up some windfalls and made some fresh lemonade!

The owners were amazing, breakfast was brilliant, beds comfy, lovely location and facilities
Oh and the sunsets from the pool area
They were totally awesome when my husband took ill and needed an ambulance in the early morning, even taking me to the hospital in their car. Extremely caring and concerned for us both
Managed to accommodate us for an extra night whilst he recovered. They were like family, I cried when I left, hopefully we’ll see them again

We walked the Camino and this place is right on the path of the Camino. What an oasis for the sore feet, beyond the wall there is tranquility and peace. The place is rustic, charming, nothing luxurious but basic. When you look beyond it, vineyard, a pond, apple trees, olive trees, kiwis.. you soak in this quite tranquil place and listen to the birds. We arrived and washed our clothes and hung them on the clothesline. We washed up and parked ourselves under the olive trees beside the vineyard. We helped ourselves (for fee) to some beer and snacks (pear and apples from the property). You must pre-order your meal otherwise its a hike to a grocery store or restaurant. So after a long day of walk you would want stay in this oasis and enjoy it. The host made spaghetti with chicken with salad, dessert and wine.. all part of a fixed cost. It was very nominal. We joined other 3 travelers for a dinner and it was the best night of our whole Camino trip. We all sang and danced and enjoyed the night under the clear night sky .. bonus a firework nearby, not sure what the occasion was. It was totally a beautiful experience to stay here. If you are walking the Camino, soak in the night here and recharge, you will be glad you did.

A beautiful property set on it’s own land filled with vines and other produce. Fantastic location for exploring towns and areas inland and along the coast. Great facilities, super comfortable bed and access to laundry facilities. The owners were
Very friendly and welcoming. Loved the dogs and the lamb! Great to be able to make breakfast for myself in my own time and to have access to small kitchen area.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The room was spacious. The location was rustic. The host was friendly and accommodating, and placed the call for our delivered meal (Moodz) which was good. The balcony was cozy and enjoyable. The coffee drinker was happy with the coffee.
Amazing! It was like a night in museum! Real old farm converted to accommodation preserving all the original equipment. Except beds - they were newer and comfortable. As well as bathroom facilities, linens and towels. The huge apartment at the top floor was clean. Far away from city noise and crowd so we enjoyed the silence. The continental breakfast was good enough. We really enjoyed the big pool and barbeque facilities.
The apartment was beautiful - with 2 comfy bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well stocked kitchen and a living/dining area with opening windows over the river & mountains! Very clean, very central to restaurants, farmacias, mercados & cafés!
The beautiful gardens surrounding this charming refurbished farm house are perfect for relaxing! The pool is even large enough to swim. The rooms are cozy and all cooking amenities are available in a communitary kitchen. Our hosts were lovely and spoiled us with a substantial breakfast. The house is located at a short drive (or still walkable distance) from the beaches and in proximity of hiking trails and the nice coastal town of Viana do Castelo.
Son of owner, Narcicio spoke English, was very accomodating as if I were his long lost family member. The owner drove me to a local restaurant at dinnertime since the 4-generation farm house is a bit off the Camino and out in the country on a beautiful acreage. He arranged for the staff at the restaurant to drive me back to the farm house after dinner. Celeste and Manual have deep hospitality roots in Anha. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
We enjoyed a quiet stay in this well built farmhouse during our biking camino. We stored our bikes in the garage and had the entire upstairs to ourselves because there were no other guests. The room was cool at night and we used the electric heater and extra blanket provided. Breakfast was beautifully presented and filling. The old well, laundry sink and wooden corn silo in the yard made the place very special.
On my second visit to Casa da Reina with a friend, we're staying for two rainy days. The farm stay is marvelous in late autumn. Rooms are cozy with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The hosts are as welcoming, lively and funny as I remember from a Camino trip in May, 2017. Wonderful breakfast and a great separate kitchen to cook our own meals. Grocery store about a 15 minute walk. Bonus is the wine produced by the owners' own cellars.
Mr. Antonio was very nice showing the animals to the kids, the house is a true old farm house, our rooms were quite and clean. We booked in the morning and were able to arrive the same day.
It is an experience of living in a rural house. They have a parking of their own. The kitchen is huge for making your own coffee or tea or heating up meals.
The view from the room is beautiful.
They have a mini shop of drinks in the fridge which are really cheap.
They have fresh fruits from their farm in the kitchen for guests to use.
