The location is just fabulous a 11/10, it is right next to a waterfall and white noise made me sleep like a baby.
The view from the cabins overlook Gerinager town and it is breathtaking.
It is close (1km) to Vesterås farm, a good hiking place with amazing views of the Geiranger fjord.
On side of mountain in historic farm location above town of Geiranger. Woke to Llamas grazing on the land below guest cabins. Can’t speak to restaurant because we didn’t eat there. Our room was rustic but functional and fine for a one-night stay or hiking basecamp.
A nice location on quiet farm. Good hiking down the stairs to the town and back up (2.5km). Enough space for parking. A very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.
Everything. The view was spectacular. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Friendly goats, sheep and alpaca! Beautiful hikes from the farm. A waterfall right next to our cabin.
We had a wonderful weekend in Westeras Gard! With a view overlooking. We stayed in a small wooden house for two people. It was warm and cozy at night. Hospitable and polite staff is always helpful. They fed us a hot dinner just before closing time. Also Westeras Gard has one of the best restaurants in Geiranger, where we eat. Delicious farm food. Highly recommend this place and thank you for your state and care.
The location is beautiful. The views from the cabins are breath taking. There are many trails right on the property. The farm animals are precious, and little lambs are everywhere. The beds are comfortable and the cabin is clean. There is TV with wifi so you can use a firestick. There isn't a microwave or oven so plan meals on a cooktop. There is a great lookout a short hike of the fjord.
Exceptional location due to view and hiking trails accessible from the property. Well equipped cabins with very comfy beds and a gourmet restaurant with killer views on site. Historic working family run farm with sheep and goats. Can't miss!
