The view - obviously :) No seriously - it’s a spectacular view right from your bed. Also the hosts were exceptional with their breakfast and the heater (we are always a bit on the colder side).

Set in Knysna, 6.3 km from Simola Golf and Country Estate, Somervreug Guesthouse offers accommodation with a rooftop pool, free private parking, a garden and a bar. This guesthouse is such a gem. The rooms are very modern looking and spotless clean. Very spacious room and with great views. Load shedding was not an issue as they have backup generators. Ample parking space. Special thanks to Wendy, the host. She handled all our tour bookings and always did so with a smile on her face. She also gave us all the information we needed and made us feel at home. Definitely recommend this guesthouse!

Situated in Knysna, 6.5 km from Simola Golf and Country Estate, Strode House offers accommodation with free WiFi, a terrace or a balcony and access to a garden and a year-round outdoor pool. Everything about the house, location and amenities. The house is as in the pictures. Spacious, warm, there is just a lot to say about the house. Martin, the host, is very welcoming and always ready to help with anything. A bubbly character also. Strode house is the best, must say.

Overlooking the Knysna Lagoon, Paradise Found is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac and 2 km away from the centre of Knsyna and the Waterfront. Amazing hospitality as well as recommendations from the hosts, comfortable room with all you need, very clean. Cherry on the cake breakfast with a great view over the lagoon in the morning

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront. Loved almost everything about it. The “cottage” style of the room, the attention of the staff, the view from the room. Everything was perfect at our stay. And Knysna is a very lovely town. The manager (I think), Mr. JH, welcomed us and helped us with every doubts we had.

Featuring panoramic views of Knysna Lagoon as well as the Heads, 6 On Protea is located along the Garden Route, just a 5-minute drive from the Knysna town centre. Anita is one of the best hostesses I’ve ever met. She made us feel at home and helped a lot during our trip. The property is so beautiful and warm, which you can get everything you need(before you request). The house is so clean and cozy with nice and quiet view. And professional staffs are so helpful. My family love our stay in Anita’s property so much and we truly hope can visit here again. Anita and her staffs bring us best memories in Knsyna!

Double Dutch offers bed and breakfast in Knysna and views over the Knysna lagoon. Set in extensive garden, it boasts an outdoor swimming pool. Where to start! My father and I loved everything about this property: from the owners (I cannot stress enough how heartwarming they are!), to the staff, to the amazing location, the view, the facilities, the room. When you arrive, you immediately get greeted by two very friendly smiling faces. Klaske and Nathalie make you feel straight at home. We weren’t too sure what to do in Knysna, but within 10mins, Klaske had already booked our activity for the next day, and had booked a fantastic restaurant for dinner. We also had some laundry we wanted to wash and had missed the daily pick-up, but there again, we were given a wonderful recommendation for a laundrette in the area (laundry was done within 24H and this during Christmas time). Breakfast was always a treat as both Nathalie and Klaske are there to greet and interact with their guests. And when we were lounging by the pool, Nathalie came around to ask us whether we needed anything. The atmosphere is very familiar and homely - like a home away from home (which is exactly what my father and me needed). Our stop in Knysna and ultimately our stay at Double wDutch is our favourite of our whole Garden Route trip and we cannot wait to go back. Cambalala is a luxury guest house ideally situated in Paradise with magnificent views over the Knysna lagoon. Excellent staff , very clean , nice breakfast , nice location and wonderful view
