Within 300 metres of Knysna Waterfront shopping area, The Rex Hotel offers the ultimate in comfort. Luxurious rooms feature modern design, LCD TVs and extra-large windows. The staff were absolutely fantastic. My parents were staying here and when there was a medical emergency the staff, particularly the two receptionists on duty that evening and the security guard, were super helpful and the manager even personally brought them home from the hospital at around 2am. The staff went above and beyond! Room and facilities were nice and modern. Breakfasts were good. Location relative to main Knysna area is perfect. Many things in walking distance.

Two of Knysna's most well-known hospitality brands, The Knysna Log-Inn Hotel and Graywood Hotel, have merged. Everything was amazing from the friendly and helpful staff to everything like the restaurants that were within walking distance. The luggage lift was cute. Breakfast was really good

Service from Mrs Busi was the best, helpful, she even came to the car to greet us, and when we left she came to say goodbye at the car. What a great person she is to to be so kind to people. We loved the location and interior design of this apartment. It is definitely in the top 3 of nicest accommodations we stayed at in South Africa. Located at walking distance from the Waterfront and just a really nice apartment to 'come home' to and relax. We highly recommend. The self check in process makes it easy to choose your own arrival time, which we very much appreciated.

Staying at Mount joy was even better than we could have imagined. We enjoyed the view over the lagoon a lot and were crazy about dog Gilbert. He's an angel. Owners David and Johan were very kind and friendly as well and made us feel at home. We very much hope that we have the opportunity to come back here!
