The self-standing Villa Moyal offers modern, self-catering apartments as well as hotel rooms surrounded by gardens and a pool. It wass very peaceful with birds singing and I enjoyed the terrace provided for sitting outside in the evening. It felt safe withing the compound and the people working are very friendly.

Guests also have access to the Wanderer's Club facilities, at club member... the hotel is perfect for a stay in Johannesburg since it is located well, it is safe and well protected. Mattress very comfortable and inside there is anything you need, breakfast, garden, pool, dinner lunches etc.. All Staff is super nice and welcoming

As a solo traveler I was nervous to go to Joburg after reading how unsafe it was. Therefore, I’ve been told I should look for accommodation in Melrose Arch as it’s a safe location. And that was absolutely right! I felt super safe and at home. The apartment is located in an office building, which may seem odd, but the benefit is that it’s super quiet at night thus you will have an amazing sleep. The security is present downstairs 24/7. The apartment itself has all the amenities you may need. There’s also a lovely balcony. The bathroom was clean, towels were provided. The bed was comfortable even if on the shorter side. Special thanks to Shoneez and Suzanne who both took wonderful care of me. Thank you! All in all, would gladly come back any time!
