In Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, this trendy 5-star hotel is 10 km from the city centre. It offers stylish rooms with state-of-the-art amenities and oversized bathrooms. They give you a Ducky for your bath. Rare to find management with a sense of humour. When I saw that bath after a week in the bush in Zambia, i nearly wept! Quirky decor. Bang on the best location. Food was excellent. I dont think we stay anywhere else in Joburg in the future.. And it is the little things that count. A make up mirror near a window. Much appreciated. Bath that easily takes 2. Proper coffee. Quality iron and ironing board. Crispy linen. Crazy fast room service. Breakfast was bang on. The statue at the bathrooms makes using a public toilet, my pet hate, amusing and intriguing. Oh and Melrose Arch rocks.

Exceptionally clean, good gym and nice bar. One bedroom apartment had washing machine, dryer and nice kitchen. There was an employee whose whole job was to keep the gym clean. All glass is wiped down daily and even the bird poo was scrubbed off the deck daily!
