It's pretty close to one of the main avenues in Montevideo (18 de Julio), a very short walk from the historic Facal Cafe and some other wonderful places like Plaza Independencia and Ciudad Vieja. The rooms are quite spacious, and the kitchen was incredibly convenient, with everything we needed for a quick coffee or even a nice homemade dinner. The internet is super fast, and we were able to work without any interruptions. Even though its so close to a main avenue and in the heart of the city, the room had great noise isolation, and we had great, quiet nights of sleep in there. The staff deserve a special thank you and lots of praise. Juan, Leandro and Paulo were absolutely amazing during our whole stay. (And huge, huge shout out to Paulo for helping us so much with everything, from bakery recommendations to information for longer stays, always with a smile on his face!) We are already planning our next trip for November and we are certainly staying there again❤️

Located 100 metres from Montevideo city centre and the metro station, Hotel Klee offers free Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast. The main square is 200 metres away. The receptionist was incredible! She had a great sense of humor, was warm, attentive and gracious. The location of the hotel was good. The Plaza de Armas was a few blocks away. I stayed 1 night, and it was comfortable enough. Breakfast was good as well.

Detta hotell ligger bara 20 minuters promenad från stranden Pocitos. Här finns en inomhuspool och en takterrass med utsikt över Montevideo. Du kan även boka massagebehandlingar på boendet. Ok, men absolut inget fyrstjärnigt hotell. Dålig akustik i matsalen och stora hårda kuddar i sängen.

London Palace ligger bara 2 kvarter från det populära Entrevero-torget i Montevideo. Här finns elegant boende med gratis Wi-Fi. Montevideos pittoreska gamla stadsdel ligger 13 kvarter bort. The location was amazing, we could do everything by foot and it was near a lot of restaurants as well, very secure area. The breakfast was amazing and they helped us find taxis, activities and even the new year party.

Just 3 blocks from Estevez Palace, the main government building, Hispano offers nicely decorated rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi in Montevideo. Car rental services are available. The hotel and room were spotlessly clean every day. There were extra pillows, blankets and a fridge in the room. The accommodation was nicely decorated and the staff were extremely helpful.

Oxford Hotel ligger i hjärtat av centrala Montevideo, bara 1 kvarter från livliga 18 de Julio Avenue. Här finns en stor lobby med eleganta möbler och marmorgolv. WiFi är gratis. I didn't spend much time in the hotel. I got there late and left early.

• Featuring an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre, Holiday Inn offers stylish rooms with cable TV and breakfast, only 500 metres from Montevideo City Hall. Tres Cruces Bus terminal is 2 km... Location in Montevideo could not be bettered. The room was large with a very comfortable bed, strong shower, well equipped with large TV (with lots of international channels), coffee making equipment and a fridge. Very modern and clean room. I stay in so many hotels and I was very impressed. Staff were very professional, pleasant and accommodating.
