This is a great place to stay if one wants to explore New York! While it's outside Manhattan, the location and connections can't be better! A safe area, just a block from the nearest subway station (plus two more a little further) to reach anywhere you need in the city. Just to illustrate, less than 20' to MoMA or Times Square or 30' to my conference venue near 103rd Street. There's plenty of local commerce, delis and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. The room was very quiet (upon a light sleeper's special request!), but generally the hotel is in a calm street and it meant a lot for a good rest before full-day activities in the city. All the staff was kind and helpful and we loved the pleasant and clean scent in the room on arrival. The daily maintenance was perfect. There were amenities like the fridge, microwave, coffee machine and ironing board in the room. Awesome! I loved the large bathroom, with plenty of space for all the toiletries. The buffet breakfast was fine, with a diversity of choices. It's a fantastic location and overall value for money in such an expensive city, and while we didn't ne3d to use that option, one could check out until 5 PM for a small fee. Though there were so many positives, there are still a few things that l hope the hotel can improve in the future. Small changes could be made to become more eco-friendly, like eliminating the plastic cutlery or letting the guest choose whether they wish to have the towels changed daily (which is quite an established practice in European hotels). There were three of us sharing the room, but only one chair, and that's pretty easy to fix. The entrance and the lobby could be improved to match the quality and the appearance of the rooms.

We randomly chose that hotel for our family trip to NYC and it ended up being the best choice we made. The proximity to the subway was great, about 5-10 minutes walk and we were literally 5 stops away from Times Square. And we have a reserved parking spot on top of it. Definitely going to keep this hotel for my next trips to NYC.

We had flight delays and the hotel accommodated us by checking us in at 5 AM and offering us a little extra time in the morning. They were quick to respond to communication and extra friendly. The bed was SO comfortable.

The breakfast offered was fresh and satisfying, though the selection remained consistent throughout my stay. The hotel's location is excellent, providing easy access to NYC via the subway. Additionally, the housekeeping service was outstanding; my room was cleaned daily, ensuring a refreshing environment to return to after a long day of exploring.
