Freehand New York er staðsett þar sem George Washington Hotel var áður til húsa en þangað komu margir frægir rithöfundar, tónlistarmenn og listamenn. location was great, room was small (probably average for nyc tho!) but had everything we needed and was clean. wish there had been more shelves in the closet (only hanging space available). staff was lovely, everyone we interacted with was super nice and helpful!

Although we did not cook the full sized kitchen was very handy for breakfast and snacks. The apartment is up two flights of stairs. Once inside the apartment is quiet and lovely but the building itself was a bit dirty. We loved the location which was super handy to all our needs. Great restaurants and easy access to groceries and public transport. We mainly walked 5 minutes to Union Square subway then it was a quick, easy commute to anywhere. Joe's pizzas across the road are excellent. Communication was prompt and very easy. We really enjoyed our 11 night stay here and enjoyed the extra space we would not have had in a hotel.
