All the staff were very friendly: Bruce the GM and Jerome his deputy went out of their way to introduce themselves and welcome us to the Hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The reception organised a pick up from the ferry terminal and transport to the airport. The hotel is close to the various foreign embassies. It's close to the national museum which is worth a morning visit. And It feels safe to walk to the supermarket (a few mins away) or going the other direction it's about a 20mim walk to the centre. But Tuk Tuks are cheap and generally easy to find. The swimming pool although not deep, is a lovely oasis in the city. really enjoyed our stay.

Holiday Inn Dar Es Salaam City Centre is located in the business district just a 5-minute drive from nearby banks, embassies and shops. Staff went above and beyond helping us get our luggage from the airport that was lost by Turkish Airlines. Especially Samira.
